Beautiful House, recently restored.

We had a night of absolute luxury in this recently restored house and garden. We were full of admiration for the achievements of the couple who own it and would love to visit again later to see the final steps, and to see the garden again as it grows and develops. The food and service were second to none.

Prachtig gerenoveerd huis. Bijzonder hartelijke ontvangst, flexibel met tijden voor het uitstekende ontbijt. Dit deel van Yorkshire is echter wat minder aantrekkelijk voor een langer verblijf.

Country house elegance

Elegant country house with only a few guest bedrooms,The house has been carefully restored by the current owners with every attention to comfort and good taste , there are beautiful original features in the rooms eg marble fireplaces. The service was excellent and extremely helpful regarding the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious and served in a gorgeous dining room overlooking the terraced garden. As it is such a small establishment there is a feeling of being a valued guest. A drawing room equipped with wi fi and an extensive library was available to guests.
