The rooms are large with all the usual accessories expected in a hotel room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. As someone who cannot speak Chinese, they helped me with taxis and mealtimes every day. The hotel manager went out of his way to help me for my return journey back to UK. He found and confirmed a hospital for my mandatory coronavirus test that provides results in English; he confirmed and booked my ferry ticket from Shenzhen to Hong Kong airport; he found my flight back home, saving me from an awkward zig-zag trip; and he arranged for me to stay in a hotel in Shenzhen, including transport to get there. His level of English is very good. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that while having an Executive Floor and ability to book an executive room, DID NOT HAVE AN OPERATING EXECUTIVE LOUNGE!! They have a space marked EXECUTIVE LOUNGE on the Executive Floor, but no executive lounge or services exist. The space is rented to a private company! I complained and after long discussion in Chinese, offered that I could use the mini bar in my room complimentary. There was no minibar and the refrigerator had a couple of redbulls, one beer, and several soft drinks and was never restocked...……….RIDICULOUS! The staff is great, front desk can speak English well enough. There's plenty of foreigners staying at this hotel. Breakfast is good, mostly Asian fare with enough continental breakfast choices for everyone. Hotel is away from the city making it quiet, but also isolated.
