This duplex includes two (2) uniquely designed - 3 bedroom/2 bathroom units. It’s a newly renovated, modern space with luxury finishes that will not disappoint! Visit @therosewoodhtx on IG and click the linktree link in the bio for a 3D virtual tour and video walkthrough of the property. If you're looking for easy access to the major highways including 288, 45, 59/69 and 610 and minutes away from the Med Center, Downtown, Midtown, the Heights, UofH, TSU and Galleria mall, then this is the place for you! It is perfect for traveling professionals, getaways or celebrations. The space This space is a newly renovated duplex and consists of 2 units to total 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each unit is made of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths: Unit A is downstairs and is accessible from the front door while Unit B is upstairs, and is accessible from the side door. There is no connection from the inside. The units are separate. Each unit has 1 king, 1 queen and 2 full beds, for a total of 8 beds at the property. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire front Duplex. There is another garage apartment at the back of the property that is currently occupied. Unfortunately, the home had an infestation of some sort of bugs and got worse as the night went on. I immediately contacted the host and she said she was aware of the bug issue and had an exterminator at the home earlier and she apologized for the issue. We attempted to kill the bugs However, more bugs came out as the night went on. I booked a hotel and took the kids to the hotel in hopes that by morning the bugs would be gone. Unfortunately, in the morning they were even worse. I contacted the host early in the morning to notify her that we could not stay in the home due to the bug infestation. It was everywhere, in the kitchen, in the bedrooms, in the bathroom, in the living rooms, in the halls… I requested a full refund, she stated she called VRBO and had trouble with the agent and she was only able to refund part of the money and she stated I would have to call VRBO to get the rest refunded. When I called VRBO they stated the host should have canceled the reservation so she could have refunded me the full amount. It appears she didn’t want to cancel it due to it messing up her metrics. So now I’m having to make multiple calls to VRBO in order to get the rest of my money refunded. The location is in a rough neighborhood and we did not feel safe parking our cars in the front yard.
