It was very nice. Good location. Able to walk to lots of other attractions and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel had good food, but VERY over priced!!! Enjoyed our stay.

Downtown, theater district

Posted 17-Apr-2016
Very nice staff. Substantial free breakfast served daily on the mezzanine level until 10am includes bacon, eggs, smoked salmon, bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice. Wine and champagne in the lobby during the week from 5-6pm. Bathrooms were beautiful and the water pressure was insane!! Beds were comfortable. Very convenient to downtown. 5 min walk to metro. Restaurant was expensive, so we didn't go except to get mimosas 1 morning ($10 each!) They were doing construction on the facade, so the outside disnt look like much, but it was gorgeous inside. I'd stay again.

Great downtown hotel!

Pros: The sheets! We ended up ordering some for home. Like sleeping on a cloud!
We've stayed at this hotel several times. It's perfect for the entertainment district in downtown Houston. Walking distance to almost everything and they have a shuttle if you don't want to walk. Great atmosphere. Say "hi" to Jeff the bartender when you stay.

Very nice hotel in Houston's theatre district.

The Lancaster Bistro restaurant is cozy and the grilled salmon dinner was out of this world. Nice wine selection. Drinks at the bar in the evening were relaxing. Bar tender was very nice and attentive. Hotel room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is served as a buffet on the mezzanine with a very elegant selection of items; smoked salmon and capers, cheese and salami tray, fresh pastries and breads plus the usual items of bacon, hard boiled eggs, cereal and yogurt. Breakfast service was excellent. The buffet was kept full of items at all times, and the tables were bussed immediately.

Nice place, I'd rather not have to use valet park

Posted 25-Feb-2016
Pros: Nice room
Cons: Do something about the parking.
Location: Downtown. Theatres are nearby but not much else
I hate required comments on surverys. If you're here on a Sunday, find another part of town to eat at.
