Definitely not the best ES

We stay at the Embassy suits often in other states -always with a good outcome,so assumed the Houston site would be a similar experience but it was not. We were with children so used the pullout couch. The rooms were hot and did not seem to cool off until well into the night. The second day we asked for towels (because despite telling the desk we had 4 ppl in a room we were only given 2) which did not arrive for hours after we called. We were gone the entire day and upon returning to the hotel that evening, came upon an uncleaned, untouched room even though we specifically asked the housekeeper for room service before leaving and even had our room number taken down at the front desk "to be sure it's cleaned" what the lobbyist's claim. (we did so because the towel incident made us feel as though there was no follow through in management). The breakfast as usu all was excellent and the Valet (although $32+ a night to park) was great and one in particular went above and beyond in an incident when asked for help. We were overall not thrilled about the stay,it wasn't close to comparable to the other ES where we typically stay although the breakfast, as always was great.
