"I was upgraded on arrival without even asking for it. Check in was quick and Viv answered all of my questions. There is a no smoking policy which I think previous guests didn’t follow. There was a slight aroma, but it didn’t take away from the room at all. But guests should respect those rules for future guests and the hotel’s benefit. "

"This place is everything we had hoped, and more than we expected. Just minutes away from the incredible hot water of Hot Water beach, the property has a stunning view and is one of the coolest places we have ever stayed. Plenty of deck space with room for people to space out. The house also has all the necessary tools for cooking, a frig, freezer, etc. More signs for the location of the place would be helpful as it's not the easiest to find at night. In addition, the place can get a bit warm but once you open the doors and windows, it becomes much more comfortable. Also, there's VERY limited cell service here but the beach and areas nearby offer a signal. "

"This is an outstanding property with an extremely responsive host. As other reviews have said, the house is much nicer than the photos. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has amazing views of Hot Water Beach. We wished we had stayed here longer. Hahei is only a ten minute drive with many dining options and a safe swimming beach. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the region. "
