OK Property.
Condo was acceptable and I would say it’s fine but I probably wouldn’t stay in this unit again. I have stayed in other units on this property and in the Ilikai and those other units were better maintained overall. The Good - This unit did have a MUCH better mattress on the sofa bed than any of the other units we have stayed in. The kitchen had plenty of space and was well stocked with everything except coffee filters (something that seems to be standard for these units so we were prepared). The sheets and towels were clean and the unit was a decent size (although a studio - NOT a 1 bdrm as advertised). Working AC. No bugs The Bad - The shower curtain had black mold on it - not just in one spot but in many areas and some were quite large. Unit was not vacuumed under the bed. Bed did not have a blanket or comforter on it. Extra blankets for the sofa bed and queen bed were in the closet and smelled musty and had hair from several different people on them, leading me to believe they do not get washed. The lock leading out to the lanai did not lock all the way. There was an electrical outlet that had a piece missing from the middle. AC worked but was hit and miss (it was very humid outside while we were there so that may have had an impact). Neighbors had music blasting two different nights and were smoking pot at 2 am one morning which filled our unit with the smell and woke me up. Overall the unit is fine. It’s close to the beach, Ala Moana and many other things.
