Self-checkin is very convenient and easy. However, I had the impression that the unit has private washer and dryer unit but it is in a shared location on the same floor. ##### Yuan T. I was able to cook for him, spend time at the beach, watch movies in the evening, and just spend great quality time in a nice clean home like environment. I will definitely return. It was a great property in a lively neighborhood with everything nearby. The upgrades were done well and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we need (one more wine glasses would be nice) to make breakfast before leaving for the day. The laundry facilities on the floor were perfect as they were clean and convenient. The ice cream shop in the lobby was where most of our days ended. Location was fantastic and easy to get to a lot of restaurants and even the mall . The beach was super close, don’t forget to capture those wonderful sunsets. The check in was easy breezy with the locking pad on the room door. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in . Kitchen had ample supplies ( except no wine glasses as described had to go out to buy 2) We would definitely stay at this rental again!! ##### Tamara F. The location is worth the entire stay! We walked everywhere with the beach being less than 5min away. Only issue were the birds on the patio, but that cant be prevented. Everything was as expected and the amenities provided lasted through our 5 day stay. The only downside was that the elevators were not working properly so we had to take the stairs when we did not have much to carry. But that is not a reflection on the room itself or rental company... and thankfully we were only on the 8th floor! ##### Kallie K. I wish I knew what brand it was to purchase for our home. Communication was easy and the space was easy to maintain. We vacuumed the floor and rug/ bathroom when dust or food debris was on the floor and we were provided with plenty dishwashing pods to keep the dishes cleaned throughout our stay. We had all we needed to cook as well. If we come back to Honolulu we plan to book here again! ##### modupe o. Nice and clean. Has a beautiful view of the city especially at night. I also have to say that there was an endless supply of bath towels on hand which was great. However, the one thing i do wish this listing had was a full length mirror as we were in need of one due to the multitude of events we attended over the weekend. Also, the 5x7 carpet is in need of being changed out. Hopefully, the updates will had occured before our next stay. Nevertheless, it's still kudos all around for this unit. ##### Michael M. The view of the city is actually nice. Bed was comfy. However at one point in the stay the ceiling started leaking fairly bad. Water dripping from the lights and AC unit. We called and messaged the property manager and they showed zero urgency in getting things resolved. They initially said to wait until morning however I let them know that wasn’t the smart thing to do with the leak pouring from the lights. They had security check it the following day. The leaking stopped but the ceiling was damaged from water. We inspected the AC and noticed LOTS of mold spurs inside of it that we clearly were breathing in. Hopefully they get it all resolved. Rental staff who communicated with us throughout our stay were responsive and brought additional items that made our stay much more comfortable. The garbage can in the kitchen needs replacing as it’s not functioning from wear and tear. Otherwise everything was in working order. The city view was new for us as we usually rent oceanfront; it was a different experience and an interesting change in scenery. We don’t have anything negative to say other than the elevators at the Ilikai need to be upgraded. It was the norm that we waited for 15-20 minutes for an elevator to arrive that was not full (8 people max because the elevators have been breaking down). This made it difficult to stick to a schedule—had to allow for this encumbrance. That said, we love the Ilikai and would stay at this property again. Mahalo for your hospitality. ##### Vickie N. It was the perfect size for the three of us, and included everything we needed from beach towels to items in the kitchen, ironing board, and more. Check in was seamless and easy. The AC worked well. I didn’t cook much, but I reheated food and found the kitchen had everything I needed and more. I booked this spot last minute and it was the most competitively priced compared to staying at a hotel. The location is great, and really close to the lagoon, where my kids and I wanted to spend time. The pools were also nice. My kids are 4 and loved the wading pool on the second floor, partly because it’s shallow, and partly because there are fewer people there vs the main pool. There is some water damage that other reviewers mentioned behind the toilet but I called the management company to report it at check in to note it’s not from us. The wait for the elevators wasn’t bad either compared to what I read, there are 4 elevators and it can be full, but it’s fine. I didn’t use the laundry machines on this visit, but it was nice to have that there in case I needed to. Loved our stay here and would def stay here again on our next trip! ##### Julia C.
