  • Enjoy a peaceful cabin getaway on Apple Lake, 5 minutes from Highlands, NC. Highlands is a small charming mountain town with great restaurants, spa, theater, music concerts, and shopping. At over 4100 feet in elevation, there is rarely a hot summer night. This cabin has large cathedral ceilings, and a huge wood burning stone fire place. You are minutes from scenic waterfalls and hiking trails. Enjoy cooking your own meals, paddle a kayak on the lake or fish for bass or brim from a private dock. Enjoy eating on the covered porch or two decks, and watching the hummingbirds fly by. Wonderful for a family vacation or romantic getaway!

    Pet Policy:
    We permit Dogs ONLY (no cats, birds, snakes, etc.) on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. Visiting pets must be on a Flea Prevention program.
