We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual.

Great view but not worth the money

The view from the hotel is superb and the big selling point. However I did not feel it was worth the money after spending 4 days there. The amenities in the room are very basic. The beach next to the hotel is quite average and not the same as Shirahama. Quality of the dinner buffet was good. The outdoor part of the onsen was very good.
