The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

Loved the style / decor of the hotel and the home from home service (cheese and wine buffets, bar and hot drinks, mini bar in room all included). Very relaxed. Helpful staff. Second year in a row staying at Jan Luyken with my wife. We love it, over ten years coming to Amsterdam and we now know for sure where we are staying every time.

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff

10/10 hotel. Second time staying here. Rooms are spacious and stunning decor (altho some wear and tear in the rooms). The jet bath is incredible! The breakfast buffet is also great, lots of choices depending on what you fancy. I do think some of the food could be seasoned better but still good. The train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel so easy connections to central Amsterdam and other places. Room service pizza is quick and delicious. Clean comfy room, smart en-suite, very comfy bed and a great night sleep. Great bar and lovely bar food. Restaurant looked lovely and great options ( didn't get to try as we fell asleep after a day of travelling. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we only spent 1 night, but would definitely return.

We were at the Avani Museum Quarter hotel in August of this year for a weekend. Main purpose of travel was to visit Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum and this hotel was perfectly located being within few minutes walking distance. We had booked canal view rooms which were wonderful. Good selection of breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Nabeel at reception for all his help. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Staff were lovely and extra helpful. Place was clean and well appointed. Location was absolutely perfect. Not on the very busy roads but right in the heart of Amsterdam.

Really buzzy fun atmosphere but relaxed too!
