Neat and tidy hotel based north of Antwerp. Not too far from amenities nor sites. About 20 mins walk to local sites. Hotel had amenities such as toiletries and iron to make a comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful. Car parking is available at a charge and you must drive past the hotel on the right, and turn into a slip road, and drive past and turn right to gain access to the underground car park facilities. It’s convenient once you know where it is. Access to and from the carpark is from...

What a find! Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the best bars and restaurants in Antwerp. Laurens and Yannick were great hosts and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

This was our first visit to Antwerp. We arranged the trip quite last minute and booked our rooms at Hotel de Witte Lellie before anything else as there was a good offer on the room and it looked beautiful. The hotel did not disappoint, it lived up to all of our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, simply and comfortably furnished with unusual architectural features. We liked the combination of old style elegance with modern furnishings. The high ceilings, large windows thoughout and...

The Islet is known for being walkable and economical with many neighborhood options for restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Broaden your horizons with some local theater. With hotels to suit everyone's tastes, The Islet serves as a good starting point for exploring the greater Antwerp area.
Sightseeing around The Islet
The museums and theaters provide some cultural flavor, while the monuments and historic sites offer insight into local lore. Browse the collections at Red Star Line Museum, National Museum of Customs and Excise, or Museum Aan de Stroom. You can buy tickets to live performances at Theater ’t Eilandje, Flemish Opera, and Queen Elizabeth Hall. West Hinder III Lightship, St. James's Church, and Brabo Statue are monuments worth a look. Learn about the local history at Antwerp Beguinage, Rockox House, and Butcher's Hall. Bring the family to Aquatopia, Antwerp Zoo, and Antwerp Botanical Garden.
You can get some shopping done while you're here, or take part in any number of other activities. You can spend a leisurely afternoon outside at Spoor Noord Park, Antwerp City Park, or Rivierenhof Provincial Park. Explore nature at Schranshoeve Sprookjeshuis Provincial Park, Kalmthout Heath, and Tivoli Park. If you've got some more time, you won't be disappointed by Port of Antwerp, Antwerp Market Square, and Vlaeykensgang.
Some of the area's most popular sights are Antwerp City Hall, Cathedral of Our Lady, and Rubens House. AP University College - Paardenmarkt Campus, University of Antwerp, and St. Paul's Church will also leave an impression.
