The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms are run down, very old and braking, the food is so bad in quality and bad on healthy choices. The location is great, and the pool Is fun. The worse is the food.

This was a very good hotel because it was on the beach with excellent facilities, e.g. a Taverna restaurant which was opened when the main restaurant was closed as an additional place to eat on site. The main restaurant food was very very good with varieties each day. The hotel grounds was beautiful with its own natural herbs gardens! Good children play area too. The nearby shops and supermarkets was very handy. However, we do believe that this hotel could easily become a 5 star rating if the management looks into the styling and general fixtures, decor and furniture of the bedrooms which although Greek style seemed very basic! On a whole it was very good value for money and we had a lovely 8 day stay and a very memorable stay for our first time in Crete.

Locatie is perfect maar dat is het dan ook.

In Malia is het niet eenvoudig een hotel aan het strand te vinden. Dessole Malia Beach is dan een optie. De ligging is prima!. De gasten zijn 80% Russisch. De gebouwen zijn oud en moeten dringend opgefrist worden. Je moet 3 dagen met de handdoeken doen. Zowel in de kamer als voor het zwembad. Het eten is iedere dag hetzelfde. Op zich goed van kwaliteit maar na een paar dagen gaat het wel vervelen. Animatie is goed! Italiaans team maar ze doen er echt alles aan om de mensen te vermaken. Water in de kamer is er niet en dus mag je naar de supermarkt om flesjes water te kopen en dat met een All inclusive formule. Raar..... Personeel lacht bijna niet. Hoe moeilijk is het om de gasten het naar de zin te maken? Natuurlijk zijn er positieve uitzonderingen. Al met al: Veel te duur voor het arrangement wat geboden wordt. Geen sprake van een 4 sterren ervaring ! Eerder 2,5.

L'aria condizionata nelle camere è troppo scarsa e quando fa caldo non riesce a raffreddare... Ed eravamo al 3 e ultimo piano con la vista mare dunque davanti la piscina dove dovrebbe tirare più vento rispetto alle camere all'interno!

Una bellissima settimana

Abbiamo soggiornato splendidamente in questo albergo che nonostante le 700 presenze non ha mai dato la sensazione di affollamento. In spiaggia ed in piscina c'erano sempre lettini e ombrelloni disponibili. Ottimo e molto vario il menù del ristorante. Squisito il personale.
