The Resort is very beautiful and perfect if you have kids, especially small once: a lot of activities to do for them! Staff is very helpful and nice and all the restaurants inside are very nice!! Our room was unfortunately very loud (garden view bungalow) even if I asked to have a quiet place, they put us in a joint room. With a small baby that goes to sleep at 8pm it’s not ideal to hear everything in the opposite room until midnight. Everything inside the resort is quite expensive so be aware of it when you book.

We are a couple with an 5 months old baby. Extremely good hotel! One of the best we have been. The food is just amazing!!! Like in a Michelin star restaurant. You don’t get this feeling that it is cooked for a big hotel. Very cozy main restaurant. Staff goes above and beyond to help, not because they have to, but because they seem to be very happy to be there as well. The hotel is very welcoming for babies and kids, but is not overrun by them. The atmosphere is very cozy and calm, no loud music (or karaoke) by the main pool, no running kids. Kids have their own activities and entertainment which is run by a professional team of animators in dedicated places. Kids club for kids of different ages is available. I loved yoga classes every morning by the sea. The level of yoga teacher is verily close to a good yoga retreat. Little things like cooking classes, cats cafe, their own ice cream/crepe place. Every centimetre of the property is well thought through by a very good designer. We absolutely loved our stay! Special thanks to Eva and Olga in the restaurant for their kind attention and hospitality.

Lovely resort, that’s like a smaller version of IKOS - minus the all inclusive and certain extra touches. Scenic resort right by the beach. Of the three à la carte restaurants on site, Almyra is the best. We didn’t enjoy the food at other spots. Service across the restaurants is great - with some lovely staff. We noticed some of the older staff (particularly at the buffet restaurant) weren’t the most welcoming and struggle the smile. The rooms were cleaned promptly every morning. We found reception/room service quite slow to deliver water/replenish glasses in the room and had to call multiple times for our order to arrive. The beach shack is really cool, great staff and lovely cocktails. If you’re looking for a resort with minimal brits abroad, this is the perfect option. Very European clientele, many young families like ours, all very friendly and wanting to have a chat. I would definitely recommend but to be aware of some of the cons I mentioned above - particularly if you’re used to IKOS resorts.

Lovely resort, incredibly family friendly. Kids club is great if child is over 3 years old. Very relaxing stay, only downside is beach is quite rocky compared to others visited in Crete, but you can always use the pool.

This is such a brilliant hotel for young families. It’s a really beautiful place with some lovely restaurants, bars & some cute additions like the gelateria & the little on-site kafenio. The staff are brilliant with kids and they’ve thought of everything you need. Malia isn’t the prettiest area, but parts of the Old Town are charming with some lovely, great value restaurants. My only criticism of this hotel how expensive the restaurant are. We chose not to go half board or all-included but I wish we had – I think it would’ve been much better value overall!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The facility is beautiful and offers many things to do. We didn't need to leave the resort at any time to do something else. Staff was mostly very sweet and friendly. Defenitely recommend or will come back someday :)

We’ll come again!

We had an absolutely great time at the hotel, the staff was very welcoming and the hotel facilities perfect, offering everyone the right alternative: with kids at the pool, quiet at the river pool or with some good chill out music by the beach - we’ll come again!

Well organized staff very gentle creating a wonderful relationship with the guests. Always someone nearby waiting to delight and fulfill your expectations. Wonderful meals.

We had a lovely stay with our 2 year old. The property is well kept and staff is excellent. Enough dinner options (included in halfboard is the buffet or a discount in the other restaurants). Pool was great and it felt like a small village. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The resort is a little outside of the village and we rented a car for a few days to explore part of the island.

Relaxing and comfortable family holiday.

Very comfortable stay, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pools. Good place to stay for a relaxing family holiday. One minor downside is the beach, which is not the best around for accessibility to the water for kids. But largely made up for by the rest of the experience. Would recommend.

Great place. Lots of kids.

Great location, Amazing building, food and service. Maybe toooo child friendly for such an amazing place. Most areas are littered with Toddlers running around or making noise.

Wonderfull. Very beautiful resort. Nice restaurants with decent prises. One widget though: They could improve the teenage program and the gym could be bigger. All in all a really great hotel. We will definitely return.

We are very pleased with our stay at Cretan Malia Park The hotel have a lovely contemporary style with a fresh and sophisticated feeling and style. The food was really amazing in all 4 restaurants. A special thanks to the lovely staff members in all parts of the hotel. You all made our stay special and we were so happy with the overall experience and service.

Great hotel.

We had three different room types. Best was beach villa. Fantastic personnel at beach bar! Great breakfast! Only issue was all the rocks in water. Hurt my foot badly.

We were stunned at how beautiful the property was. It had many restaurants to choose from, some of the best resort/hotel food we've had. Even an ice cream/crepe bar! Staff was welcoming, warm and friendly. The spa was great. I didn't want to leave b/c they had everything there on the property. Would def come back again and recommend to friends.
