Very nice place to stay, close to shops and only 2 minutes from the beach. Beautiful pool area & restaurant with excellent food.

Wonderful hosts nothing too much trouble. Great to be back for a 31 year reunion of our time spent working in Malia. Made us very welcome & accommodation was great. Super location in old town and close to everything. Thank you so much

Very clean and spacious room with kitchenette. Bring your own coffee, sugar, napkins, etc. none was included. No coffee maker just a kettle. Area was very quiet, parking on the street with lots of lights. Supermarket is 5 minute walk, coffee shop 2 minute walk. All in all I was very satisfied.

Great apartment, clean and good size, very comfortable for family of 2 adults and 2 children. Would recommend to anyone staying in Heraklion. Easy access to centre and bus to Knossos.

The ground floor apartment has a courtyard and hotub. The suite was super clean. Both reception and cleaning staff were really helpful. There are shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The beach is about 30 mins walk away head to the port and walk right along the front. Would definitely book this property again

From the point of booking, the owner of Vegga suites made contact with us and was very attentive. Even walked to greet us on arrival at 5am, made reservations at a restaurant he recommended and was in his words “at our disposal” during our stay in Crete even after we left Heraklion to move to our beach holiday. Location wise, the suites are in a prime location to explore the historical areas in Heraklion and enjoy a bit of retail therapy while enjoying the Cretan culture and hospitality The...

Very characterful but be prepared for stairs and steep slopes

Hotel and my room were well maintained and decorated to a high standard. Location was close to public transport, and the main square and port area. My room looked out on the walkway which tops the old ramparts of the city. Opposite side also windowed looked out onto rooftops and hotel courtyard.

Very helpful team. We are a family of 3 with a young toddler and the team were very helpful

Friendly helpful staff. Apartment was a very good size with good equipped appliances including a washing machine. Spotlessly clean and well looked after. Furnished to a very high standard. Bonus of having car parking.

We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended

We were the only guests and were very well looked after.first rate Cretian breakfast. Bed linen changed after two days. We used their Taverna in the evenings. I would say a car is a must. The olive oil, wines (red and White House ,herbs and capers all home produced including the Rakl. Pretty easy to go north or as the main road is only minutes away, views are fantastic. Cash for restauran

We had an awesome stay at Lemon Garden. Great thanks to Manos who really helped out with lots of useful tips including restaurants and beaches nearby we should go to. He suggested an amazing breakfast place and also arranged a taxi for us which was very kind. The place itself is bang in the centre of Heraklion old town and a walk to the Morosini Fountain. Highly recommended.

Property is very charming, super location within the city, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre.

Hosts can’t do enough for you, setting is astonishingly beautiful and pictures or words won’t do it justice. The food is genuine Greek cuisine cooked and sourced by locals and very fairly priced. The breakfast consisted of 4 courses of delicious food. You would expect to pay 5 times what they ask for and still feel fairly charged. Very kind and accommodating owners, who are genuinely friendly. The rooms are clean while rustically decorating, they have everything you need and more. There is a...
