Perfect romantic escape for a night or two
Beauuuutiful old tower and buildings in a quiet idyllic setting close to Germany (5 min.) and Belgium (25 min.). Very clean and well-maintained estate, bedroom, and bathroom. Excellent dinner food in the restaurant, but a somewhat underwhelming breakfast buffet. Very comfy bed, and while the room and its furniture radiate a romantic castle atmosphere, the bathroom is very modern - a perfect mix between the "old" that you want and the "new" that you need. :) HIGHLY recommended for a night or two.

Nice location and great breakfast
Beautiful location and very nice breakfast. There's plenty of walking and biking possibilities nearby and a forest with a lovely outdoors playground for the children.

a beautiful property, perfectly quiet with professional, unobtrusive staff. close to Roermond and the train station there. Clean, stylish but appropriate rooms, quite comfortable. very pleased to have fund this gem, will be back. great for romantic evenings, silent and relaxing business travel. great with a car for exploring nearby beautiful countryside

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, wir waren bereits zum 3. Mal hier.Der Service im Restaurant ist hervorragend, die Speisen sehr gut. Leider waren wir bei der Sauberkeit im Zimmer enttäuscht, wir bewohnten das Zimmer Nr. 12 es bedarf einer Grundreinigung, denn Spinnweben in den Ecken entstehen nicht an einem Tag, schade. Wir haben dies sofort an der Rezeption noch während unseres Aufenthalts bemängelt.

Fantastisk perle ikke mere end 46 min fra Maastrick og 15 min fra kæmpe outlet. Man får virkelig oplevelsen af slotsferie. Vi kan også anbefale spisning på stedet som var over al forventning. Vi kunne godt have brugt en dag mere på hotellet. Kommer meget gerne igen😄

fijn hotel met prima keuken
Prachtig gelegen hotel, sfeervol. We hadden tijdens het Pinksterweekeinde een torensuite geboekt op de tweede verdieping. Comfortabel. Groot min punt was op zaterdag avond een luidruchtig bruiloftsfeest is de feestzaal die naast de toren ligt. Zelfs met alle ramen en houten luiken dicht was de geluidsoverlast van de harde muziek zeer storend. Deze activiteiten verdragen elkaar niet. Is de zaal verhuurd voor een dergelijk feest., verhuur dan geen suite voor die nacht!

Rustige, mooie omgeving. Lekker eten, vriendelijke bediening. Kamer, splitlevel, ruim opgezet en van de basis gemakken voorzien. Qua housekeeping, per dag verschillend wat er gedaan werd. Wellicht te maken met drukte. Tussen de gasten wisseling in misschien even wat extra stof afnemen.

The room, downstairs, was not cleaned well. Every where to much dust. At arrival we took a drink outsite at the terras. The tabels were not clean and even when we ask the staff to clean the table no action wat taken

Heerlijk hotel om, zeker in de covid tijd, even weg te zijn. Split level kamer met tereas, zit- en eethoek op begane grond en slaapkamer met badkamer boven. Uitstekend diner met goede wijnen. Ontbijt was ook zeer goed en is inbegrepen in de prijs. Natuurgebied om de hoek voor fietsen en/ of wandelen

Mooie plek en een heerlijk hotel
Fijn hotel! verbleven tijdens de coronalockdown. Eten werd keurig op de kamer geserveerd. Ik wilde een vis die niet op de kaart stond en ook dat was allemaal mogelijk. Mooie omgeving ook. Heerlijk rustig!

Goede service tijdens lockdown
Na wekenlang lockdown waren we echt toe aan een weekendje weg. Ondanks de strikte corona maatregelen was de service in dit hotel uitstekend. Het ontbijt en het optionele diner wordt opgevoerd vanuit een aangesloten restaurant in de buurt. Netjes gedekte tafel in de ruime kamer. Omgeving is rustig en biedt uitstekende mogelijkheden voor mooie wandeltochten. Kortom, mooi kasteel met mooie ruime kamers te midden van een wonderschoon landschap. Service - ondanks lockdown - uitstekend en medewerkers die er alles aan doen om het verblijf te veraangenamen.

een net hotel, ruime klassieke kamer, mooie ligging makkelijk parkeren. zeer vriendelijk personeel volgen goed de corona regels ( er zou bij de kamer ingang van de boerderij wel wat desinfectie mogen staan, dit is wel het geval bij de ingang van het restaurant)
