Clean and comfortable property. While the shower is so tiny you can barely fit in it, it is private shower while many places offer shared bathrooms. For location, amenities and price this is a gem. Special thanks to the breakfast room staff who kept the breakfast room stocked and clean during the breakfast hours and were always friendly and welcoming. Have stayed before and will stay again. Great central location. Basic room style but has great modern bathroom. Don't be put off by the dated lobby area as rooms are not so old. The hotel ideally situated in the middle. All the staff were pleasant. Only issue is the pictures provided in Hotel.com are misleading. If you are big built, try to avoid the hotel. The room, bed and specially the shower room is too small. The noise was terrible. VERY loud music until 4:20am. This was a Friday night. We have stayed at this property before, also on the back, but never had music this bad before. If we go again we will request a room on the opposite side. It is a great location and value for money right in centre of town. The whole place could do with a paint job and a freshen up as it is a tad dated. Overall, the place was ok. There were just a few things it was missing: no bar or safe, as advertised which was partly the reason I booked it as a solo traveller. The bathroom had a weird quirk, where the shower door didn’t close all the way (design flaw), which meant water went all over the floor and toilet bin right next to the shower. Also, because of the weird shape of the shower and close proximity to the vanity, a floor mat can’t be used directly in front of the shower as it will block the door opening. Lastly, chairs being moved back and forth on the mezzanine floors made for a rather annoying sound late at night and early in the morning, but I assume this would only affect the first floor which I was on.
