The ceilings are over 3 meters high, and the original Baroque stucco ceilings have been meticulously restored. The apartment has two large living/bedrooms. Each features a large double bed (180x200cm), two comfortable armchairs, a desk, a TV, and a wardrobe. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely dining area, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and rainforest showerhead, and a small room with a washing machine and dryer. The house is connected to the district heating system, combining historic walls with 21st-century conveniences. The apartment is heated by underfloor heating. High-speed internet, towels, bed linen, and tea towels are included in the rent. A small selection of coffee cups (Tassimo) is provided for your convenience. An important note: The apartment is on the first floor and you will have to climb stairs; the building has no elevator. One Bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. Park: The apartment is located in Heidelberg's old town and there are 3 Public parking garages nearby: P12 Kornmarkt (2 minutes walk from from the holiday apartment) P13 Karlsplatz/Rathaus– Karlsplatz (5 minutes walk Foot from the holiday apartment) P11 Parking Garage University Library – Sandgasse (5 Minutes walk from the apartment) Free parking (but not within walking distance): Kurfürsten-Anlage – coming from the Römerkreis on the left side of the road Neuer Messplatz – 3 km from the apartment away, can be reached by bus. The The history of the house, which houses 4 holiday apartments, dates back to 15th century. At that time, the castle’s forestry office was located here The house is located in the heart of the old town, close to the Holy Spirit Church, the town hall and market square and on the outer edge of the pedestrian area. It offers all the advantages of the city center with regard to Tourist destinations, restaurants and other activities. It is lovely and well-appointed. We were in Heidelberg to celebrate the 40th Reunion of a college-program we were faculty for in 1984-85 through Pepperdine University. This apartment is very conveniently situated in the heart of the old town and is only a few steps away from many bars and restaurants.
