"We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza Mazatlán! The property itself was beautiful, with stunning architecture that gave it so much charm and character. Its central location made everything so convenient—we could easily walk to shops, dining options, and plenty of local attractions. The beach and the boardwalk were just a short walk away, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The staff were absolutely amazing—always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with anything we needed. They kept the property spotless, and we truly appreciated the care and attention to detail. A special thank you to Olga, who took such wonderful care of our room each day and made our stay feel even more comfortable. Transportation was never an issue either; right outside the property we always found friendly and affordable options to take us to nearby areas that were just as beautiful and fun to visit. The food choices were fantastic, offering a variety of cultural flavors, but the seafood in particular was absolutely outstanding—we couldn’t get enough! We were completely enamored with Mazatlán and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We’re already looking forward to visiting this vibrant city and staying at this hotel again. Highly recommended!"

"This was an absolutely amazing place to stay for the week. It was our first trip to Mazatlan, and I loved every moment of it. Two things for those interested. First, set your expectations on sound.... This apartment is right on the beach and right on the main avenue. This will provide you with incredible sunsets and views of the water (we saw whales the first day!), but the tradeoff means that on the weekends, you're going to have a lot of noise from the avenue and the malecon. It'll keep you awake. That said, by the second night, I'd mostly acclimated, and enjoyed the sounds of the city. There can also be some noise off the pool area as families and other guests enjoy the area. The other thing - and this one was the most annoying - was that there is only one key provided for the apartment. That key is the only way in and out of the building, the only way to access the lobby and lounge area, and the only way in and out of the apartment. It's not the end of the world, but if you're traveling with a few others, it can be a challenge. I'd definitely advise the host to provide a second key. All that said, though, what an incredible place to enjoy Mazatlan from. There is an OXXO, liquor store, coffee shop, within a few hundred meters/yards of the entrance. And the food nearby is absolutely amazing! Last, I'd also suggest talking with Richard at the front desk (in the lobby area) about tours and any transportation you need. He took our experiences to another level!"

"The only negative was the exact location and address. Cab from airport had no idea where this place was and we spent a lot of money and time trying to locate it. Was dropped off at wrong address another cab ride and another wrong address. On third cab ride we found the place thanks to the hotel down the street. The property manager was prompt with our concerns once we arrived. I would have no qualms staying here again. "
