"Really enjoyed our short stay and visiting this area. Walkable distance from the station and lake. A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."

"Decent place but I would probably not stay here again. The mattress felt like a box spring and was very hard, the walls were stained and the wallpaper was ripping in some areas, the walls were thin so you can easily here rooms beside you talking, on top of the fridge and desk there was dust and it looked like that hadn’t been wiped down in a while and my rooms floor had a black spot stains. I don’t think it was worth the price and I would rather spend a little more next time to get a better...

It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku. "Room was clean, toiletries were complete, there’s also provision of sleepwear. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay."

"It was a nice Japanes experience with the futon on the floor. Only two points negative. There was no towels for the shower unless you rented it for 200 yen. Breakfast was only croissants with coffee, juice,butter and jam. "
