Second time staying as a family with grandparents, just as wonderful as the first. Clean, well-equipped, plenty of space and wondferful view. Kids (aged 7-13) really enjoyed it, with plenty of games and jigsaws if the weather isn't on your side. Perfect for those wanting to explore the Pembrokeshire coast.
We had a fantastic stay – the property was exactly as described, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and spotless cleanliness. The views from the living room and upstairs bedroom were absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. It's in a great location, within easy reach of beautiful countryside and attractions like St David’s Cathedral, Fishguard, and St David’s. A perfect 10/10 stay!
Fantastic accommodation with fabulous views across the fields to the sea. We were very lucky with the weather and treated to some amazing sunsets from the living room and balcony. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay - the provision of milk and supplies were especially welcome after our long drive - thank you! Great location for accessing the coastal path (recommend The Sloop Inn) and visiting St Davids, Fishguard etc.
We had a great stay over New Years the property was very spacious and well appointed with lovely coastal views. The rooms were good size and it was very clean and we appreciated the welcome gifts left for us.
Wonderful cottage. It's really apparent that our hosts care about guests. There are so many little details to make your stay comfortable.
The location is quiet, scenic and close enough to some really great beaches.
Excellent cottage with plenty of room and lovely views of the coast. Very well equipped. Communication excellent and a short walk to Porthgain and a beautiful stretch of the Pembrokeshire coastal.path
All the information I received was excellent, the area is stunning, a pub/ restaurant in Porthgain was really good, and good enough for us to return to each day of our stay. All together a most enjoyable stay.
Beautiful house. Stunning view from all the rooms. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Couldn’t fault it. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Lounge couches lovely and comfortable and the room beautifully presented. Great tv. Just watch your head in the bathroom I managed over 3 days. Eclectic shape and just adds to the charm. Fantastic commication with the property manager. Nothing too much trouble. We were lucky with the weather too. Last night the crescent moon and stars were utterly amazing. All in all would absolutely recommend. Thank yoh.
This is such a lovely house for a relaxing holiday in the most beautiful surroundings and we all loved being back for a third visit. The views are gorgeous and as we had unexpectedly sunny weather we were able to enjoy walking and swimming (with wetsuits!)
Thank you Sandra
We had a wonderful stay in this property. Very comfortable and nicely appointed, the view from the property is stunning and we enjoyed watching the sunsets. There is a beautiful beach and walks just minutes from the property. The kids also really enjoyed watching the cows next door. We would definitely recommend. The hosts were also very easy to communicate with and accommodating.
A rare opportunity for our transatlantic family to holiday together. The property was perfect for us. It was ideal for 7 adults and a baby! The property is very spacious with plenty of chairs in the living room. Our kingsize bed was also very comfortable. Appeared to tick every box!!
The property was beautiful clean and cared for. All amenities were on hand and the views over fields to the sea made the location feel very special. A few minutes to some spectacular Welsh coastline and 20 minutes to Fishguard in one direction and St David's in the other make this a perfectly situated base to explore the area. We will be going back!
Everything was very clean and tidy well equipped. Very very comfortable. We loved the furnishings of the rooms. Our stay was excellent and we would recommend it to our friends, The scenery was amazing. Margaret next door was very kind,
We came to walk the coast path around St. Davids and to visit some of the nearby sights. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house was warm, comfortable, spacious, had a great view and all mod cons. The area is quiet and best if you have a car, which we did, though there is nearby bus service for those so inclined.A lovely relaxing quiet stay in the countryside; quiet, dark skies, brilliant stars!Communication with our hosts was exemplary and they gave us a lot of useful advice on local things to do.We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Such a lovely, spacious, clean and well equipped cottage. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are so wonderful and the lovely harbour of Porthgain a short walk away. Great location for exploring all that the area has to offer. Comfortable and homely cottage, perfect for the four of us (but plenty of space for more!) Thank you Sandra and Sian. 😀👍
I spent a relaxing 5 days here with my family (7 of us, ages 5 to 70). The views from the house are beautiful, and I probably spent too much time just gazing out of them! The house is cosy, very well equipped and spacious. For the outdoor minded there are plenty of walks in the area, and lots of little beaches to discover. Our kids really enjoyed the beach at Abereriddy. Porthgain is a short walk and boasts a nice bistro, country pub and local art galleries. The escape the room near St David's also recieved high ratings. It really felt like a home away from home, and I hope we can return in future.
Lovely clean cottage, nice Welsh Cakes on arrival after a long drive were welcome. Hosts were available if required, but also appreciated the privacy of this property. The log burner was nice as the week was very blustery and cool so was nice to get back and put the fire on.Beds were comfy, all amenities were in good condition. One recommendation would be to look at the windows as the bedroom and living room windows were very drafty and as cold meant we did have to put the heating on to run a lot of the stay as the cottage lost it's heat easily.Great directions given prior to arrival.Whilst the beds were comfy we did find the seats in the living room to be lacking back support so not the comfiest if sat for a while. We found it difficult to find the public footpaths that would shorten the walk to the Sloop Inn etc so a bit more details would be great. Thanks for your hospitality!
Property was perfect for our needs with a well equipped kitchen and lounge area and a handy utility room with lots of things you may need. Property was lovely and clean. The views from the back of the property over the fields and out to sea are breathtaking and worth the rental alone. Very close location to the lovely little port village of Porthgain (with the Sloop Inn particularly recommended). An excellent base for exploring some of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Sian and Sandra were great hosts who responded quickly to any questions and provided lots of helpful information. They were also great at returning a cuddly toy one of the kids had left. We would definitely stay again. The views from the patio at the back will stick with us! Cannot recommend highly enough.
This was a superb property with everything you need for a comfortable stay - beautiful bedrooms with amazing views including one downstairs which is ideal for those less mobile, great bathrooms both up and downstairs with piping hot showers and a fabulous open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room with doors out onto a balcony - just lovely and would have been even better if we had the weather to get out there and watch the sun going down ! Warm and cosy and welcoming and so organised with everything you need available. Great contact with host beforehand and details for help if needed during our stay.
Quiet beautiful location with amenities and nice places to visit/see and eat nearby - 5 days full of walking coast paths, little cafes and cosy evernings - just lovely . ☺️
This is our second time staying in this beautiful cottage. We’ve been spending Easter in Wales for the last 10 years and this is by far our favourite place! The location is superb and the cottage feels like home - so much love and care put into this property, it just does not feel like a rental accommodation!Thank you so very much Sandra and Sian for sharing your special place with us. We hope to be back! Anna, James, Sasha, Nicole
