"The place was perfect for my bachelorette party. The rooms were cozy, kitchen was well stocked, and perfectly located near the water. My only concern, the hot tub did not appear to be cleaned like they claimed. There was no strainer to remove the bugs and unfortunately we were not comfortable to use it. Other than this, the host was easy to reach, checking in and out process was very easy. The lake view was impeccable and they really mean it when they say it’s a short walk!"

"This property has lots of amenities: besides the sauna and hot tub, there’s comfy furniture on a raised platform just steps from the beach; games to play inside and outside (cornhole, basketball hoop); a warm outdoor shower; shade areas for lounging or reading and sun areas for tanning; multiple kayaks; beach shoes for wading into the stony, bay floor. It offers a bountifully equipped kitchen and a wonderfully open floor plan (bring a white noise machine for snorers). The view from the house and lawn is spectacular and magical."

"Rustic cabin with lots of old furniture. Internet worked great, beds were comfortable. The setting is incredibly peaceful with a stunning view of the water. This cottage is a step back in time, so bring your books and cards to entertain yourselves. I appreciated the time to step away from the TV. In addition, there are lots of places to visit in the area. Elk Rapids is a quaint town that offers a great place for families to visit and enjoy the big lake."

"Beautiful and convenient location. Overall nice. The aesthetics are nice, and the separate common areas were good. NONE of the upstairs bedrooms/sleeping areas have curtains!!! A guest should not be expected to pull the trash bin to the road! The upstairs shower took over 15 minutes to get warm water in the shower off the living room, and then the water pressure was weak; the other two showers were fine. The downstairs half-bath door does not lock. The lawn was overgrown. One of the bedrooms did not have a screen on the window."
