The Grafton
10/10 Excellent
"Very quiet area. Just 6-7mins walk from the main shops with plenty of breakfast and evening eating options. The room was compact, clean and modern with an excellent en-suite. Keys provided so that we could come and go as we pleased, with the car handily parked right outside. This has really made us think about all the more central hotels we've used over the years. The Grafton has an awful lot going for it and it suited our needs for this long weekend away, perfectly."

"The room was immaculate and the staff very attentive. The breakfast was amazing, with so much choice, and the bar was a lovely, relaxing area with very helpful bar staff. Our afternoon tea for two was delicious and very refined. We also loved the Agatha Christie connection to the hotel and it was lovely to see other guests dressed up in Agatha Christie era outfits. The things that were a slight negative were the lift, which was incredibly slow and there was a lack of plug sockets in the room..... and I'd forgotten to pack the multi plug extension I usually take! But all in all, we absolutely loved our stay."

"The location was good. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was dated and could do with being freshened up. The hotel itself had no atmosphere it always empty in the bar area so it didn't tempt us into wanting to stay for food or drinks. The reception staff were helpful. Overall we had a great weekend break. Harrogate is a lovely place."

"The perfect stay-over on our journey back to Scotland. A very well-appointed hotel - the perfect blend of traditional pub-feel alongside modern décor. The hotel room was located in the beer garden annex - immaculately presented with a very well appointed en-suite and comfortable bed. We had both diner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and both were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and hopefully will have a reason to return again."

"Very helpful staff to pre-book parking (a real bonus in Harrogate!) and have the space reserved. Check in process was very quick and slick. Room was clean, comfortable, and great value for the price!"

"An excellent hotel 10 minutes walk to the centre of Harrogate. The room was a good size and was spotless, with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, we sat in the window overlooking "The Stray". Parking was separate but right next to the hotel and wasn't expensive. A great choice!!"
