"This was a lovely place to stay while we were in town for a family reunion! It had all the amenities to be comfortable and was super clean and maintained! The owner was also very helpful and quick to respond. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the porch in the evening and watching various wildlife and looking at mountains. There was a cute groundhog that we got to watch in length, plus some bunnies, field mouse, and Barn Swallows. "

"Our family had a fantastic time at the Franklin A-Frame cabin! It’s located in a beautiful area with lots of lovely waterfalls and hiking trails, perfect for anyone who enjoys nature and the outdoors. If you’re in the mood for exploring a nearby town, it’s just a short drive to Franklin and only about 20 minutes to the charming town of Highlands.The cabin itself was wonderful. We loved spending our evenings on the large deck, which faces west and offers stunning views of the sunset over the mountains. The propane fire pit was a nice addition that made our evenings even cozier.As some other guests have noted, the road leading up to the cabin is a bit rough, but that’s what you get with a mountain cabin in western North Carolina. Our smallish road-based SUV handled the road just fine. It is all-wheel-drive but it’s not a high clearance 4wd meant for off-road adventures.Overall, we had an amazing 3-day getaway at the Franklin A-Frame and would definitely come back if we visit the area again!"
"The property was great. Wonderful views of wayah bald and surrounding mountains. The owners said to make ourselves at home, and we did. It was very comfortable. We had a great time in town, and enjoyed the surroundings. A very nice way to spend a week."
"The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place in Franklin to stay!"
