"The best hotel we stayed in on a two week long trip through California. This is a family owned place and it shows. Everyone was thoughtful and attentive. Not just responsive to their guests but accomodating and friendly. Housekeeping was awesome. The grounds are beautiful. They have lovely winding pathways through the gardens to the creek and a fabulous outdoor fireplace for schmoozing at night. Front desk very information. Blue Bird is a little isolated retreat right in the middle of town and next easily accessible to major restaurants and bars yet if you want some alone time you can take a bottle of wine out to the creek or the fire and just chill. We won't stay anywhere else in Cambria"

"I’ve been renting vacation homes in Cambria for 40 years and as such Zi feel I am somewhat of an expert; Victor should get a 10 Star rating! He was accommodating and quick to communicate answering all questions quickly and concisely. The beds are the best I’ve ever experienced in a rental the house was clean and I loved all the different outdoor areas. It was quiet and peaceful which is what we were looking for and the turkeys strutting through at “cocktail hour” everyday made us all laugh!"
