Staff denied our early request for a queen bed and gave us inferior, small room with rooftop slope so staff could favor travel group reservations for one night in spite of our 3 night booking.

This is only available in few comfort- or deluxe rooms. Staff were fantastic at reception and the bar. Our room had no air conditioning, the bed mattress needs replacing and there was dirt and dust along the wall. The refrigerator did not work and we lost valuable food as a result.

Nice hotel in Harderwijk
Spent 2 days in this hotel for a business trip. Location is great in the middle of the city close to the sea. Room is comfortable (despite absence of A/C - but we are in NL and it does not get hot very often). Breakfast is just ok, nothing exceptional. Nice and friendly personnel.

Nice hotel, housekeeping needs improvement
This was a nice hotel in a charming Dutch village. The staff was nice, but for the price we paid I expected a bit more from the housekeeping staff. There was a broken cookie on the floor by the bed the day I entered the room and one of the coffee cups was dirty/had been used. I stayed for a week and the housekeeping staff came in almost everyday, but the broken cookie crumbles were still on the floor the day I left. The coffee cup stayed dirty until I moved it to a different table. Just seems they must clean the rooms in a hurry and don't pay much attention.

Hotel is very close to Dolphinarium for that we booked this hotel. For best western brand we had high expectations about the cleaniness and comfort shame it was not the case. The corridor carpets had big stains and in general it was worn out at places. Rooms exhaust not working , complained on first day and nothing was done. Pillows were hard and size of hay bale. In all not very impressed.

The best Best Western
I have never stayed in a more welcoming and friendly hotel. The staff are superb and incredibly helpful. The food is excellent, as is the service. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location is very central. I will stay again next time I am in the area.

Excellent short stay
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Staff: The staff were very welcoming and spoke very good English. They answered any queries I had with expertise. Room: The room, given the very low price was very spacious with a good size bathroom. It was maintained well during my stay. Food: The best bit though were the meals. I always try something different to eat except this time. The steak meal I had was simply excellent with a well cooked steak and delightful various accompagnements. I thought it was so good I had exactly the same the following night. The venison I had for my third night was just as good. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of fare. Altogether a great stay and i will probably return there should i find myself in that part of the world again. It did offer free parking however that was not very close so I chose the garage parking for which there was a smallish charge. Location: Right in the centre of town so excellent. Lots of quaint shops and a beach.

Friendly Hotel
Hotel was quite small but that gave it a friendly appeal. Service was very good and employees were very friendly and attentive. Overall I would always choose this hotel when I return to this location.

Staff and management went out of their way to make us comfortable. When a medical emergency arose were wonderful.The manager/owner even getting out of bed in the middle of the night to accommodate us.

Hotel ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Wir sind jetzt das zweite mal dort gewesen. Beim ersten Besuch hatten wir ein besser ausgestattetes Zimmer gehabt. Die Zimmer die zur Hauptstraße schauen, sind moderner bzw. neuer von der Ausstattung her und vor allem das Bad in diesen Zimmern ist top mit Duschkabine. Die Zimmer die hinten zum Garten liegen sind na h unserer Meinung definitiv Renovierungs Bedürftig.

Harderwijk is een heel leuk stadje met mooie oude straatjes, veel winkels en leuke terrassen. Het personeel in het Hotel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij, vooral tijdens het diner werden we heel vriendelijk bediend.

Het is een mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Een goede nachtrust is echter moeilijk. Het is zeer gehorig. De voordeur klapt 's-nachts telkens met een enorme dreun dicht, waar zeker niet doorheen te slapen is. Dat gebeurde de eerste nacht een keer of tien.

oncomfortabel en onder de maat service
Ondanks dat buitentemperatuur beneden 30C, waren de 2 kamers voor ons gezin erg warm en benauwd waardoor we allen slecht geslapen hebben. De kleine kamers hebben geen airco. Toch moeten betalen voor bestelde babybed als niet klaar staat bij aankomst, vind ik slechte service. Als ik aangeef bij uitchecken dat onze zieke jongste van 4 jaar vrijwel niks gegeten heeft bij ontbijtbuffet, moet toch voor buffet betalen en wordt niet gevraagd hoe het met haar gaat. Er is een fietsenstalling die overdag openbaar toegankelijk is, had hier liever iets afgesloten gezien zoals bij andere hotels.

Nette kamer, zeer schoon, een 10 voor housekeeping! Alleen erg jammer dat dw televsie niet nasr behoren werkte. Er was wel geluid, masr geen beeld. Ook na het exact opvolgen van instructies om apparaat te delen kregen we een foutmelding, waardoor we ook niet kobden netflixen op de tv. Minpunten voor de techniek dus. WiFi werkte wel. Bij binnenkomst geen goede uitleg over parkeersiruatie en verstekken vergunning. Dit volgde pas tien we toevallig iets gingen vragen over een ander onderwerp. Toen waren er al onnodig kosten gemaakt helaas. Informatievoorziening kan dus beter.

Wir haben zwei Zimmern reserviert, beide Zimmern waren sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Möbel allerdings war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotelpersonal hat unsere Parkplatzreservierung vergessen, was schön ärgerlich war, dafür aber einen kostenlosen Parkplatz weiter vom Hotel angeboten. Den Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht: 14 Euro pro Person war uns zu teuer, vor allem wenn man in der Nähe eine Bäckerei hat.. Der Stadt ist sehr sauber und schön..

Er is niet zoveel keuze in Harderwijk. Het is een prima hotel. Netjes en schoon. Hier en daar een beetje verouderd. Paar gekke details zoals handdoeken die in de aparte wc hingen. Halogeen spot in de douche die het niet deed. Maar op het geheel heel redelijk geprijsd voor wat je krijgt.

Prettig hotel midden in Harderwijk. Het is gevestigd in een historisch pand. Restaurant is goed en het dag menu betaalbaar. Neem vooraf even contact op over parkeren te zien waar de gunstige plekken zijn. Kamer is comfortabel.
