"The hosts were incredibly responsive throughout our stay, which made check in, and any other reason to communicate wonderful and very easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy. Despite being a bit closer to the road than expected, the hot tub and fire pit was located behind the home, making it a very relaxing place to hang out. Trail access was also very close and incredibly beautiful for a walk along the water or into the woods. We wery happy with our stay, and the amenities available to us. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing girls' weekend away."

"The owner made checking in very easy and was very flexible about what time we arrived. The bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed; the bedroom was quaint and cosy. The house is only a block from Haliburton’s Main Street, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores as well as the library, the post office, and the public park on the lake. This is a great starting point for exploring the many beautiful aspects of the Haliburton Highlands."

The lake view is gorgeous — we found ourselves out on the deck every morning with a coffee just taking it in.The swimming was great right off the dock, and the kayak and water-bike was a great bonus :)The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family stay, and the location is peaceful and quiet.We'd happily come back.
