"Visited with a small group. Room was spacious. 2 blocks from the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Elevator was hot and tight - Stairs were easily accessible. Only complaint - They forgot to refill Toilet Paper. Other than that this room was great."

"We booked our stay through Expedia, expecting a room with a balcony and an ocean view. Unfortunately, our dining experience at the High Tide restaurant was disappointing. From the hostess who seated us to the uncomfortable low seating at our table, everything felt subpar. The food had no flavor at all, especially when compared to their sister property, Bernardus, in Carmel Valley—there’s simply no comparison. On a positive note, the pool and staff at the hotel were excellent and very accommodating. However, while the room was decent, it did not justify the additional price we were charged for our two-night stay."

"This property is located on a quiet beachfront. The kitchen is well appointed and rooms are comfortable. Would have liked to have TV in the primary suite. The grill could use a cleaning but home is otherwise clean. Might be helpful to indicate which door opens with the code. Hot tub was a delight."
