Sadly don't be misled by the nice website photos though. The dimly tube-lit bathroom was the worst we've experienced this trip with mouldy tiles and a dated suite that's turned yellow over many years, blocked sink and bath drains, and ants crawling throughout! There was no duvet cover in the room and the electric kettle was unfit as well as unsafe for purpose. The room was quite nice except the nice big window has a view of a wall. Book a balcony room if you want a view I guess? It doesn't really matter to me as I prefer to go out anyway. Staff is very friendly. We had room without window to the outside. If you don,t want that, make sure you book another room. Breakfast very good though space a bit limited at 'peak hour'. Public room looks very nice, rooms satisfactory. When we came back again in hotel from Halon Bay cruise our room was still occupied by clients who had to stay longer because husband had to go to hospital. Though we booked 2 doubles we got 1 very big room now. Well they very politely asked if we could agree with that. We didn't mind that much as the room was nice and the staff very polite. We had a window view of the hallway, no biggie. The bathroom floor was wet, so I laid some dry towels down, no biggie. However, we were told that we had to buy our own hand soap when we found none in the room. On the second day we had no running water and had to call downstairs.
