"Our family had a wonderful vacation! The home is located right on the beach, beautiful view of the ocean from the living areas and master bedroom! The host was wonderful and attentive throughout the stay. The home was clean and spacious. The home was complete with all kinds of accommodations such as kitchen wares, beach toys and accessories. It was relaxing waking up to oceanfront view. I got to enjoy painting plein air from the deck with my oil paints. Highly recommend!!"

"Great location, back of unit faces the beach. Condo is in good shape for a older building and was very clean inside. Private parking lot and direct beach access to boot! Was our first time visiting topsail Island and we had a great time. Hope to stay again sometime in the future."

"Lovely time and a quiet comfortable stay. The decor is very inviting for relaxation and taking a break. The screened in porch was our favorite spot in the house and the AC is phenomenal (we have n in-air conditioned house on the beach). Everything was neat and tidy and in good repair. We now call it “Home-Sweet-Hampstead.” Great location to check out the local offerings both on Topsail Island and in neighboring locales. Host was accommodating, kind and a clear communicator. Highly recommend."

"The property is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! See the beach, sunrises and moon rises right from the unit. And we even saw a sea turtle crawl up the beach and lay eggs on our final day - amazing! Would definitely come back."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at The Canal House! Communication with Elizabeth was on point! The house was perfect for our family and our dogs! We had two children ages 8 and 4. They were never at a loss for things to do. Canal house had plenty of beach toys, beach towels, and outdoor toys! Even a small kayak that our grandson paddled around in. There is a little playground and a pool that the kids also took full advantage of. We did have a couple days of rain and there were umbrellas in the hall closet! How thoughtful! All of us enjoyed being right on the canal as the fishing from the pier was great!! My daughter and I also ventured out in the kayaks and were pleasantly surprised that a couple of dolphins decided to join us!!The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we needed. Even plastic dinner ware for dining on the outside deck. Parking was easy. Plenty of room for two cars.Beach access was a quick walk across the street!Thank you Elizabeth! We had an amazing time!"

"Our family had an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with this rental! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained everything was. It was obvious that the hosts put a great deal of thought into making sure guests have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate during our trip, and it rained for most of our vacation. Because of that, we ended up spending much more time inside the house than we originally planned. Thankfully, this home made being “stuck inside” enjoyable. It was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed to relax.One of the things that really stood out was the amazing selection of games and activities. There was truly something for everyone—adults, children, and everyone in between. It made family time so much fun, and our son especially loved having so many options to keep him entertained.Everything in the home was easy to find, thoughtfully organized, and very accessible. The property was exactly as described, and we genuinely felt at home throughout our stay.We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, family-friendly place to stay. Even with days of rain, we still had a wonderful vacation because of how accommodating and comfortable this home was. We would absolutely stay here again. 5 out of 5 stars!"
