"We stayed in the 3 bedroom Villa expecting exceptional service and holiday as it was one of the most expensive rooms at the hotel. To be honest the stay was good overall. The accommodation is a bit older but is well maintained. The staff at the hotel were mostly good to amazing. The staff tried to help, but most could not speak English or any of the other languages we speak. I used the Vietnamese to English phone apps that are free to use. It was usually manageable, and many of the staff were truly trying to help. The room service and cleaning staff did an exceptional job, there was never anything to complain about, and they were amazing. The kitchen and breakfast, options have hardly any vegetarian or vegan options unless you want to use the salad bar to make your own sandwiches. As our group was all vegetarian or vegan this made it a bit of a challenge. Most days there were 2-3 good vegetarian options at breakfast. We did speak to kitchen management and they were able to accommodate us after the first a couple of days of our 8 day stay. They even packed us breakfast on the last day of our stay which was a really nice touch. Outside the hotel there was an undercurrent of tourists not being wanted, or not welcome, which I found surprising because it is a town fully dependent on tourism. Booking outings with the staff from hotel is probably the best way to go. "

"Lily at the reception was amazing and very helpful, her english was great and always had conversation with us and a laugh. The resort itself is nice, good breakfast, friendly staff. Our over water chalet was good, but some of the others were on a but of a lean. Handy location to travel between top and bottom of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here."

"Do not waste your money on this place! The pictures of the property are cleverly taken to deceive you into thinking that this is a well looked after resort. We (2 couples) booked 2 over water bungalows that we had to pay up front for. We stayed 1 night in one and 2 nights in the other. We ended up booking into the resort next door for the remainder of our time losing our money already paid (they resold our bungalows). The wooden walkways were uneven and broken in places, unlit at night which made them unsafe. One bungalow was worse than the other, the a/c did not work and there was no hot water. In both bungalows the gaps in the floor through to the sea were wider than acceptable, during a night storm the waves were splashing up through these gaps! There was nowhere to store your clothes, no drawers or shelves, when we asked the owner for something she found us a vegetable rack but couldn’t understand why we needed something! There is only one lounger outside the bungalow and we asked for another one but were told we could only have 1 and an upright chair! The other bungalow had none. The private beach was full of rubbish from the sea, plastic so you couldn’t use it for lounging. Extremely disappointing and would never go back."

"We are a family of 4 and we booked for 3 nights but the first night our room has no cold or hot water to shower nor to flush the toilet. We had no water for 12 hours. We walked to inform the water problem . There was no telephone in the room and it was a long walk to the reception desk. Only our room got affected since we confirmed with our neighbor. The owners of the hotel blamed on his staffs for their negligence but did not compensate us for that night. It is unfair and unacceptable. DO NOT stay here. Terrible service and management!"
