We came to stay for 3 nights for a short break. Amazing from start to finish. Lovely receptionist and very helpful in terms of where we should visit etc. We even had a little treat left by Samira which was really appreciated - she was very helpful also! Deposit for the room returned swiftly after our stay! Not a busy location but easy transport into Central Amsterdam - took 6 minutes on the train which is a regular service! Would 10000% recommend and if we return this will be where we go.

If you're not familiar with Haarlem and are looking at Carlton Square's location on a map, it looks to be somewhat outside the city centre. But don't be fooled! Very close to Schipol airport and train station which is great for travelling by train during stay. The shuttle service was very reliable and most of the day ran every 15 mins or 30 mins at latest.
