"If I could give less than one star, I would. We booked three nights but checked out after just one because the conditions were so bad. The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning, so we had to open the window—only to have insects come in. The bed sheets had holes, the towels smelled awful, and I found something gross under the bed that I’d rather not describe. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and worst of all, I found bed bugs and had to kill them myself. The whole place felt neglected and uncomfortable—definitely not what was shown online. It honestly felt more like a shelter than a hotel. When we left early, we hoped for a partial refund for the two unused nights, but they refused. I’m not writing this out of anger, but I hope it helps others avoid the same experience. Please read this seriously before booking. A little research can save you from a lot of stress—and lost money."

"I loved staying here. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, the breakfast was good, and the rooms clean. Parking was a little confusing (you need to reserve it ahead of time if you need it), but we used a nearby parking garage for an affordable rate, and used the public transit the whole time we were in Vienna. I would stay here again! Also loved how quiet it was in the evening and early morning. "

"Well appointed, clean and comfortable flat on 2nd floor of historic building. We loved that it was away from the city but 1/2 a block from the tram stop, which goes right to the heart of Vienna. The flat is on the back of the building overlooking a garden courtyard. It was very quiet, however there is construction going on next to the building so we were unable to sleep past 7am. We are early risers but after traveling over 30 hours to get to Vienna, it would have nice to get more than a few hours sleep our first night there (we got in late) and could not rest during the day because of the very loud construction noise. Construction stopped around 4pm every day so we went to sleep early the first full day we were there and it wasn't an issue, but if you are traveling from afar and need rest or have small ones that need to nap during the day, I'd check on the construction status. It is a large city and there is always construction somewhere which was not the fault of the very accommodating host, but it would have been nice to know that before renting. Barring construction,we would stay in this flat again. "
