"Outstanding property, very clean and well maintained. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Food in the hotel was slightly expensive, but the food was very good and full of flavour. I especially recommend the ginger pudding with clotted cream. It was so light and delicious. The grounds were beautiful and we even saw a tawny owl. Highly recommended and we will return."

"Lovely hotel, beautiful views and comfy rooms. Breakfast was nice but a shame you pay extra for anything outside the continental. Would need aircon if it got any hotter than when we were there. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely hotel in superb position and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. However we are blue badge holders with limited mobility and although there were a number of disabled parking places all these had been pre-booked and occupied by diners. Whilst we were able to leave our car in a disabled space on the first evening we were directed to the underground car park on the Sunday. Unfortunately it was almost full but we managed to literally squeeze into one of the last two spaces. This was disappointing having paid a significant amount to stay particularly after being told that we could park on double yellow lines on the main road, not really helpful. Perhaps the hotel needs to review its policy."
