"The staff was very helpful. However here are my concerns. Our room was very hot the mattress was hard. The operator for the hot shower water was very confusing for people who aren’t familiar with the UK design for the hot water operator. Also the soap dispenser fell off the wall in the shower. "

"Dead basic no frills, perfect for our needs! Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. Great bus service with a stop very near takes you to Penzance in about 5 mins. I will stop again. Cheers."

"It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come back again to reminisce the unforgettable experience we had this time."

"We were up in the courtyard and the rooms were lovely. Spacious enough, comfy beds, great powerful shower. The staff were helpful and polite and breakfast was tasty and made to order. Short stroll into the centre. Would recommend and definitely stay again!"

"Hotel room have beautiful sea view and breakfast is simple but delicious. Walking around 10 minutes to high street. Hotel location is good for regional scenic places. Around 1.5 hours driving distance. Staffing is helpful."
