staff very friendly place is spotless

This a lovely welcoming home in a beautiful natural rural location. The bedroom (and the whole house) was very comfortable with antique furniture and a nice collection of antique nick nacks and art. The mattress on our bed was on the firm side which may not suit everybody. All in all it was a very nice change from the usual utilitarian spaces. The owner is very thoughtful and responsive, and the breakfast choices were healthy fresh and delicious.

Enjoyed the golf experience. very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Maintaining the heritage of the building, this hotel brings absolutely first-class modern food with a bias towards Scottish produce(venison, salmon, etc.) Our greeting on arrival set the tone of professionalism, friendliness and competence displayed by every staff member. To this great start was added a charming room in the main building overlooking the River Tay. There can be few views from a hotel bedroom nicer than this one Dining at Ballathie is genuinely an unforgettable experience....

A one night visit to Perth was very well facilitated by the Sunbank House Hotel. Information sent to us in advance allowed us to plan our visit and thoroughly enjoy our stay. Location: on the Eastern bank of the Tay less than 15 minutes walk into the heart of Perth. There are 2 options - the path beside the Tay Viaduct or the roadway over South St bridge. Hospitality: outstanding from the moment we arrived and parked in the on-site spaces to the fantastic breakfast (best kipper in years!) We...

My family and I stayed just one night but enjoyed the relaxed ambience of the hotel, found the staff very friendly and well trained. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Check in and out very easy.

I was on a business trip and specifically booked the Townhouse on the back of the highly positive online reviews. I wasn't disappointed. From the perfectly-toned welcome from David onwards, I was thoroughly impressed. There are 5 rooms and I was staying in one of the smaller rooms at the top. It was lovely: extremely clean, well designed and furnished throughout, very comfortable bed and lots of extras, such as the fruit, shortbread, proper coffee etc. Breakfast was exceptional and, overall, the...

This hotel was better than I ever expected. Modern decor inside and very helpful staff.

Lovely hotel and very central. Parking for 4 cars with a car park near by. Had a single room which was very comfortable and warm. Thanks all.

I was staying in the hotel just before heading back down to Manchester on Saturday (I didn't want to travel Friday evening). I've got to say this is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I really couldn't fault anything (maybe the wifi in the evening). I stayed for evening meal and that was absolutely fantastic food. That evening I slept soundly and didn't wake at all till the morning. The breakfast also had more options to anywhere else I've stayed. I will be definitely staying here...

We had great overnight stay. Check in and check out easy and quick and staff lovely. Room was a suite which we were allocated on arrival and loved this Huge room with lovely views of the river. Room clean and bed comfy. Breakfast lovely and staff work hard great choice for breakfast. Location of the hotel great for shops, bars and restaurants. Had a great stay and will return

Great location, beautiful artwork, facilities of a 5 star hotel in a homely guest house. Local produce at breakfast and a well stocked honesty bar. Hosts are attentive and lots of information for travellers. Can’t wait to return.

Room was great and amenities good.

We were looking to stay at Pitlochry but all was booked out so booked the Bridge of Cally because it was the closest we could get. What a great piece of luck it turned out to be, very friendly hotel, lovely location on the river, (make sure you go for a walk) staff were helpful and happy, good breakfast and the restaurant meals in the evening were top chef level!!! We had some of the best restaurant meals we have had in the UK here even better than a "5 star" Cornwall restaurant we went to...
