"Great little place, lovely views and so peaceful, only a 10 minute walk into Hawes."

"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"The property was a good size with all the basics you need. For a couple it's great.You can't deny that the location is amazing. A few minutes walk and you are in proper wilderness with so much wildlife about. We had some lovely walks straight from the property.You are only a short drive to the nearest village so not too isolated.We found it a brilliant base to explore Yorkshire."

"This really is a stunning property, it is well catered for families and dogs too. The location is spot on and there is tons to do around the area with amazing walks and scenery to local markets and nice restaurants and pubs. "This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. "

"We had a lovely stay with our dog. Garden was great for him to run around in and beautiful walks on your doorstep. Great location, nice and peaceful but still close to Croft Circuit."

"Stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed for 2 weeks. Lovely and quiet, great outdoor fire pit area and acres of space to socialise and chill indoors. Would highly recommend. "

"What can we say. Entrance mat filthy. Cobwebs everywhere. Dirty handprint on the bathroom wall. Shower riser rusty, shower tiles mouldy. Didn't look like anywhere had been swept or vacuumed. Lack of somewhere to put drinks in the lounge. If there is more than 2 of you you will struggle to sit and eat or sit in the lounge together. Toilet seat very loose, dangerous. Neighbours Alexa plays music all night and alarms start going off from 5am. Management company say sorry but do nothing about it....

"The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields."

"Very unique stay at Kestrel Yurt, food was beautiful and Jo is a fab host. Was great to meet the chickens too and enjoy a walk into Hawes and back with some great little shops to have a browse and plenty of choice for food and drink. Shame about the weather as we couldn’t bring ourselves to brave the hot tub in the wind and rain. But a great feature and loved the log fire in the yurt kept us very toasty once we got the hang of it. "
