"Issues started when we were told we could check in early and despite confirming this, it was rescinded last minute. On arrival, house was beautiful but there were clumps of dust in the hallways and by the curtains. At night, issues with the aircon were constant. No clear instructions which room number corresponded with what on the panel. The principal suite had all the excess air from other rooms being dumped into it so it was extremely hot and when we’d turn it off, the whole house got extremely cold. Disabled child with asthma was wheezing and infant was also affected by the unstable temperature so we left 2 nights too early as they have needed hospital care with breathing difficulties prior. Also, we were told on day 2 that the bins there were not for general waste so we had to load a car full of nappies and other waste to a separate location for disposal. The neighbours have the right bins by the way. So it just comes across as lazy as far as hosting people is concerned. The views are stunning both during the day and at night with a great quality finish for the house. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was great too. "

"I would rate this as 3and a half and honestly thats quite high for me , the carpets could do with replacing , would freshen the place up , it’s a a pleasant experience especially if it’s quiet 👍, it’s yes for me over all Bircher muesli is the best to live on for a couple of days with fresh strawberries 🍓 "

"The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay - just not long enough. Ken was fantastic, making sure everything was ok.A great house that felt like home during our stay. Nice size bedrooms with room for many - great for groups.The kitchen was good - to the point we cooked a lot of our own meals, and with the cafe' so close I had some good coffee first thing in the morning!Just a very relaxing break, catching up with old friends, showing the kids around my old stomping ground and enjoying the Northern Rivers lifestyle in general.Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy our break in style.
