"Driving up it was obvious that the property was cared for. Lots of parking. Clean front and lobby. Check-in was fast and friendly. Room was basic but very well appointed, modern, and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Only problem - no restaurants nearby. Convenience store belonging to the gas station next to the property was adequate."

"This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!"

and we all enjoyed it. Plenty of trails to hike on and the place was very nice. When we came back home I wish we stayed longer. We plan on coming back every year!"
