Great location, great staff, great vibe!! Michelle The innkeeper was on point, made me feel like I was staying with family. 5 stars all around can't wait to go back, going to make it my go-to place in the Saratoga area
Perfect spot right on the lake, lakeside dining, service and food excellent.Kingston was courteous and professional making sure my stay was accommodating. Truly a hidden gem on the lake!!!
Very comfortable clean room . restaurant and bar was in the same building. Food and staff were great. location is close to saratoga race track. made for a great day. will stay again
It was a very nice place to stay. The only thing in the bathroom. There was not enough room to put any toiletries. Need more space the restaurant food was very good. People were very nice.
A unique property attached to a restaurant. I was concerned about the noise, but the room was so quiet, dark, super comfortable bed and pillows and decorated lovely. Recommend for an overnight stay close to everything!
This small inn is situated at a small beach/marina in a delightfully quiet part of Saratoga Lake. Our room (Lady of the Lake) had a great view of the lake. It was small but lovely. There’s a lively tavern in the inn but the room was remarkably quiet all day and night. There’s an adjacent town picnic area on the lake which is especially nice. Free coffee and oat bars in the corridor (tho no decaf coffee, unfortunately). A well-stocked Stewart’s is a short walk down the road.
Great little inn sitting above a restaurant on Saratoga lake. Easy drive to Saratoga Springs and the races. Also really nice beach right at your doorstep.
Room was on the small side, but perfect for a weekend escape.
My room was cleaned everyday, there was air conditioning and the view was beautiful. However, there is no check-in or out staff and if there were any issues it was very hard to reach staff.
The Nest is a hidden gem that I almost want to gatekeep! The room was so cute and cozy and nicely decorated. The location was ideal right next to the lake with access to the restaurant, bar, and kayak rentals. We did many activities in Saratoga Springs each day, and the Nest was a lovely retreat to return to each evening. I especially enjoyed drinking my coffee next to the water each morning. My only reason for a neutral rating on the staff was that I never saw or interacted with anyone, but the check in process was seamless through the digital screen outside the entry. I know staff was present as the bed was made and we had fresh towels daily. The only suggestions for improvements I have would be to provide a towel rack or hooks in the Josephine room for wet towels. Also, limited parking for Nest guests made it challenging for overnight when all the spots were taken; however, we discovered additional parking on the opposite side of the building from the entry. I definitely hope to stay at the Nest again!
This is a lovely hotel with 7 guestrooms. It is connected to the restaurant/bar and under the same ownership and management. it is very unconventional, like getting a room at an old-fashioned inn. There is no front desk, no concierge, no room keys. All the communications are through text and email. You are given a numerical code to open your room on a keypad. There is a very nice coffee machine on the second floor and granola bars. The restaurant was fine for lunch and dinner. The college kids who work at the restaurant also clean the guestrooms and were very helpful when we had questions. unfortunately, the nice sandy beach on the lake was not open during our stay. Beautiful view of the lake and sunset on the restaurant deck.
The self check-in was interesting. Our 1st time encountering this, but was no problem. The room was delightful. Very quaint. The only complaint I have is the shower. There was a hand-held shower head. It was impossible to secure it in it's bracket so that there was not water going everywhere. Consequently, there was a lot of water all over the bathroom floor. It has become quite a funny story when told afterwards. Not so funny at the time. Perhaps a regular stationary shower head would be much better. Otherwise, our stay was delightful, and the view of the lake was beautiful. And, very nice that there is a very good restaurant attached.
