We were impressed with the physical condition of the hotel, our 3 room suite (108) was nice, comfortable and clean.
The reason we chose Homewood Suites was due to the amenities which were advertised on both the website as well as on the incoming phone message. The amenities that were offered included; 1. Roof top bar 2. Nightly guest mixer 3. Complimentary breakfast 4. On site bar. and 5. City View. None of the above mentioned items were available. When we addressed our concerns to both the check in representative and the check out representative they both became argumentative, and blamed COVID 19 for the issue. The issue we wanted addressed was why these services were still advertised and promoted when we are 3 months into the pandemic. Breakfast was served in a brown paper bag and consisted of an apple, water, a muffin and a breakfast bar. Lastly our city view looked into the parking garage, the same parking garage that our prepaid pass would not let us out of as we were trying to exit, instead of going back into the hotel to complain to deaf ears again, we just paid for parking again, totaling $64. One last thing, we never received a good explanation of the $32.00 amenity charge that showed up on our bank statement. Nothing additional was purchased.
