The Parador is a destination within a destination. Not only are you INSIDE the Alhambra complex, the hotel grounds are magnificent! Staff is super welcoming, and very helpful. Get your Alhambra tickets early. We were happy we already had them as they were sold out before we arrived.

The property is unique on the location and the history and the design of the building itself. However, I wish the hotel should work with the Alhambra and provide access to all areas when customers study in the hotel. For the price of the hotel charge compared with the tickets for all entrance fee of the site it should be easy and I don't think any guess would complain about the additional cost on top of the hotel fee for the convenience.

Wonderful to be within the magical Alhambra in an old (but renovated!) Franciscan convent. Staff was terrific. My only suggestion is that they give guests the option of not having sheets washed daily to save on environmental costs. A superb hotel. Quiet and with an unforgettable view and solarium. Excellent breakfast too.

Location! Located in an old monastery beside the Alhambra, this hotel is unique. There are no other nearby eating options or entertainment, but you don’t need either. Room was quiet and comfortable. Food was excellent. Service great.

Obviously this is an unique location. The building is a one off. However the dinner menu we found to be average and below par for the location.

There simply is no better way to experience the majesty of the Alhambra than staying here. After the site closes, you have the Alhambra all to yourself. It's extraordinary. The team, from the doorman to the chef, are incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgable. We will always remember our stay with this team as one of the great travel experiences of our lives.

When we checked in the gentleman at reception was the best and most attentive person I have encountered while travelling. He did everything, checked us in quickly and efficiently, carried our many bags to the room and parked our car. And the best part it was done in friendly manner.

Lovely Stay within the Alhambra
The service was incredible, the rooms are lovely. The food at the restaurant is delicious although the atmosphere is very cafeteria like (bright lights, no music, banquet hall furniture) and you cannot see the garden at night due to lack of lighting in the garden and harsh lights inside the restaurant. Staff are truely excellent. Finding your way via car to the hotel is a bit of an adventure- do not use Waze, try google maps of better yet, take a cab.

The Hotel is very expensive for what was provided. The breakfast was very basic, limited food at the cafe and with such a beautiful outlook at the cafe it would be great to have heaters so you could enjoy the atmosphere. As it is so cold and limited food options you are forced to go into Granada unless you want to wait for the restaurant that doesn’t open until 8.30pm…..with such a large price tag it would be helpful for the hotel to organise the Alhambra tickets as many visitors were unable to gain access and were staying at the Parador for that very reason. So while it’s very peaceful and beautiful it’s not value for money.

Jorge at frontdesk was superb...could not have been more helpful! Get your Alhambra tickets at least two weeks before you arrive or you won't get in! This Parador is VERY expensive, and rooms are smaller than other Paradors. The breakfast staff was very unfriendly...unlike everyone else!

It is truly a special experience to stay at the Parador de Granada for its setting, ambience, and close location to Alhambra. Our room has a nice view of Generalife. We like the courtyard, where we can learn more about the history of the place. The hotel's gardens are beautiful, where we can get excellent views of Generalife and some views of Albaicin. The most special thing is we can walk to Alhambra at night for the visit! The staffs were helpful and nice. Overall it's a memorable stay!

It was truly a special and memorable experience to stay at Parador de Granada. Our itinerary during the two week travel was pretty packed and staying at the Parador really allowed us to feel a sense of peace. The restaurant was excellent and really enjoyed the live music provided by the guitarist, too.

This is a beautiful property on the grounds of the Allhambra. It is an easy walk into town (although in hot weather you might want to cab back up). The room was lovely. We had dinner at the restaurant on the property and would recommend it if you are staying there.

Brilliant hotel, great location, great breakfast. Staff were excellent. Not going to name all the guys who looked after us at the reception in case we miss one. They were all excellent, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, a credit to the hotel. In particular i liked the attention to detail - such as bamboo tongs for a buffet (covid is still around).

Location is the best for the Alhambra as it's inside the grounds. Beautiful grounds. Don't miss the maze and views behind the outdoor restaurant. Perfect for taking a break mid day through your day at the Alhambra. Hotel will call u a cab to venture into town and it's inexpensive. The restaurant is pretty good and fair pricing. I do think that the breakfast could be much better for this caliber of hotel.

Beautiful property , well maintained , spotlessly clean. Rooms are basic but extremely comfortable as were the beds. Restaurant and breakfast service good but one had a slight impression of a state controlled organisation that lacked underlying understanding of the commercial market. Individually the staff were charming.

Excellent Rooms
Our room had a great view of the Gerneralife part of the Algambra. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The shower was hot. Great after a long say of walking around the Alhambra. The hotel is in the perfect location to see the Alhambra. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was okay. Breakfast was a simple, typical Spanish buffet option of breads and cereal, eggs to order, fruit, etc. There are really not any choices to go out for breakfast up there. Lunch was in a lovely outdoor courtyard. Good salad and sandwich options. Dinner was just okay. The salad was excellent but our choice of main course not so great. It was a great trip and a place we had always wanted to visit.

We had a beautiful view of Generalife directly from our window. The grounds are beautiful and it was a unique experience staying at Alhambra. We had dinner in the restaurant (make a reservation in advance) which was good, and again the views can't be beaten. We had also paid for 1/2 board which included breakfast which was really good and worth the price tag. Be aware that there aren't other options available for food unless you go down to Grenada city

The Parador Granada is a state-run hotel in a beautiful, historic monastery adjacent to the magnificent Alhambra Palace. The staff could not have been more helpful arranging transport, dinner reservations and providing recommendations for activities. The rooms are rather spartan, but clean and well appointed with updated bathrooms. Our lunch on the outdoor terrace was delightful. Breakfast was less impressive, but adequate. We would definitely recommend.

It is the premier location for seeing the Alhambra. While it was a pricey stay, it was worth it to be so close and to be able to dine in the evening looking out over the Alhambra and the rest of Granada.

The location, the architecture, the history, the gardens, the restaurant. It's the best place to stay if your focus is on the Alhambra and the Generalife. A couple of the updates were odd. In 2 days don't think we ever completely figured out the light switches. And the bathroom sink is so large there's little room for or toiletries. Other than that--wonderful stay. will recommend it to friends.
