Beautiful Pool

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Pros: The landscape gardens around the bungalows and pool were perfect.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Half hour pleasant walk beside the canal to Faro Maspolomas, regular free shuttles to the beach at Maspolomas or Playa des Ingles.
The accommodation, facilities and staff were excellent. The heated pool was immaculate and very warm throughout our stay and there were always plenty of sunbeds with shady spots to enjoy a really relaxing holiday. Carlos at reception was very helpful and if anything needing fixing, it was attended to straight away,

Not the best of places

Posted 16-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Rather small rooms, very noisy from the road next to the complex. Locationwise - having a car will make it easier to go around. Could benefit from better cleanng.

Quiet, basic, out of the way, relaxation.

The Cordial Sandy Golf Bungalows are good for those wanting a basic apartment with shared pool. There is little by way of "services" which I presume is why this property has a 1 star rating. They do organise a shuttle bus service down to the Faro (lighthouse) in Maspalomas, and there is a poolside bar, but that's it for facilities. Having said that, its great I felt you want out of the way peace and quiet, just to sit outside your apartment in the the sun and read a book. Most of the clients seemed to be over 60 and from Northern Europe. Very few families with children (likely since there are no kids facilities except one swing). Hiring a car is definitely recommended if you stay here.

Lovely gardens in resort. Super quiet. Very few families, mostly retired couples from Scandinavia.

Wifi sucks!!

Posted 01-Nov-2016 on Hotels
We liked our room but, we really required the Internet to plan our trip and it was horrible. We originally requested a bungalow closer to the wifi hotspot and we were told it was unavailable. We noticed that the requested bungalow remained empty throughout our 5 night stay. There was wired Internet available in the office for a fee...but we felt we should not be asked to pay, because we should have been receiving wifi in our unit. The beds were not so comfy...everything else was great....maintenance guys respond quickly and all staff was polite.

The Place was ok but disappointed with no much umbrellas or hamacas in the swimming pool area. Also with full board accommodation didn't help we have to go to the other resort for all our meals.

excellent clean and quiet resort.

Wonderful clean resort, well maintained. The area is quiet with no bars or restaurants nearby but only a 20 min walk or 4 euro taxi to the Yumbo centre. Been a few times now and it never seems overly crowded. The rooms are all individual bungalows with your own large private terrace/patio area set amongst the gardens. The rooms are basic but more than adequate.
