"I Have stayed here everytime but one of my daughters Landmark College Journey. Accesible to campus. Great coffee literally across the street. Campus 5 minutes away. Hotel is clean, quiet and convient........ and the proprietor after several visits welcomes you by name!!!! Today was our last check out. Graduation. Dont Shy away from an Affordable option. A Hotel is meant to be a place to sleep and rest the rest is the Adventure!"

"We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. The Red Slate had an excellent menu and we ate there for 2 dinners and breakfasts (reservations on Open Table Suggested). The bar features all Vermont made beer, wine, and liquor, with inventive cocktails. We would highly recommend! Please note that during the off-season A/C was not available in our room, the outdoor pool was closed, the only access to 2nd floor is via stairs, and the room interior was slightly outdated. These things did not negatively effect our trip in any way. Will definitely stay here again. :)"

"STAFF I want to start by pointing out that the staff at the hotel were above and beyond PHENOMENAL, and I mean ALL THE STAFF. I spent the weekend up there and got stuck with some car problems in a blizzard and dealt with everybody on the staff there. They were some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. When I say all the staff, I mean all the staff! DAY 1. The plow guy helped me get my car out of a spot when my snow chain broke and I couldn’t move. DAY 2 The maintenance guy got me down to the front desk when my car broke down, then the manager got me a new room right away and gave me a ride to where I needed to go. DAY 3 The other manager called her brother-in-law to come tow and fix my car when the other shops in town were full on a Monday morning. The other front desk staff were great at letting me stay in my room until the car was finished. The cleaning crew who are the hardest working people in the industry were checking to see if my car was ok and if I needed anything. ROOM, I stayed in a two-bedroom condo that had a fireplace, full kitchen, huge living room and everything was spotless. The place was beautiful and fit 8 people. The only thing I would say is that if there is a big blizzard coming make sure you’re prepared with chains or snow tires if you are at the top of the hill because it could be a little challenging to get there with a ton of snow."
