"Good cereal/toast continental breakfast"

"The cabin was cozy, the fireplace was the best, especially since it was a chilly early spring when we were there. It was pretty remote, which was nice but if you don't wish to be far from towns, etc. this may not be the place for you. Some of the dirt roads were an experience! The steps getting into the home and off the deck were a bit wonky with no railing to hold onto. The property was very peaceful. It would've been nice to know the property lines so that we could've walked through more of the woods other than the one trail we found. The beds were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was great and they provide all that you need to feel like this is your home away from home. Beautiful wood beams, ceilings and floors. I would recommend cleaning the cobwebs from the wood beams. I understand it's in the woods but not something you want to see when you look up to admire the beauty of the wood. Other than that, it was a peaceful place and very cozy. No cell phone reception at the home which once you got used to that, it was refreshing to disconnect. "House was great for me and my family. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors to relax - kitchen was fully stocked and the house was clean and very comfortable. Host was effective and timely with communication and made the check in and checkout process easy. I would stay again. "

"Check in was quick and effortless. The home was clean and location was perfect with stunning views. I did find it strange that the home we rented was the central location for charging the neighbor’s Electric Vehicles in the winter. I felt uncomfortable with strangers parking their cars in front of the large window of the room my 2 youngest children slept in to charge their vehicles overnight. I do feel this information should have been shared exclusively with the renter prior to their stay. This information would have been helpful and would have eliminated some of the anxiety our family experienced during this stay."

"This was a beautiful secluded log cabin in great part of Vermont. The wood stove made for a great experience and housed us perfectly for a ski weekend.*One thing to note is the house is located 10 minutes on backroads up on a mountain. During the winter season there should be a note on the listing advising for a truck, SUV or 4W drive. My Sedan was unable to make it up to to the house the first night and lucky another guest of ours had a Ford F-150 to get us up to the home. The second night I also barely made it up and it was dangerous. Plan ahead in the winter.I am still giving this a 5 star rating as I would book again for other seasons. The home and location is beautiful and dog friendly"
