We can't say enough about our stay at East Bay Resort. The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and attentive to your every need, and the beachfront suites are "first class". The ocean views are wonderful, just like the photos on their website, with plenty of beach to explore, and look for shells. And since the resort faces east, you'll get beautiful sunrises in the morning, before heading to the restaurant for breakfast. We look forward to returning to East Bay Resort for more kayaking, and to bring our snorkeling gear so we can explore the reefs. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales on our visit, but they do swim through that area on their migration path. We are the type of people who enjoy peace & quiet, so if you're looking for a "stress free", "no hassle" vacation, then this is the place for you. We were so impressed by the resort, that we're already planning to go back next year!

Blue Haven Resort

"Wonderful Getaway Spot"
We chose the Blue Haven for our 20th Anniversary trip and were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful, so airy and well maintained. The marina area is so tranquil and there were always towels, lounge chairs, etc. available. Ours was a quiet week, so we enjoyed that while also using their shuttle service to their sister hotels. It was the best of both worlds! We really enjoyed going over to the Alexandra and spending the day on Grace Bay beach - sooo beautiful! Getting rum punches and fish tacos delivered right to our chairs was the best. We enjoyed taking a (long) walk down the beach to the Beach House (their other sister hotel), taking a swim in their pool and walking back to the Alexandra. The wait for the shuttle was never long, maybe 10-15 minutes at the most, and the drivers were very nice and hospitable. The front desk staff were wonderful at the Blue Haven, especially Ramona and Sharick, thank you! We loved the welcome (and goodbye) rum punches, such a nice gesture! We would definitely recommend the Blue Haven as a relaxing, beautiful spot for a getaway!

"Great location"
Great, little hotel with probably one of the best locations on grace bay beach. If you are looking for a decent hotel for a good value this is the best choice. Make sure you pick better rooms than the basic as construction is poor and one can hear everything. Don't expect luxury, things are run down a bit but find rooms that were updated recently and it's a great deal.

"A nice, quiet, comfortable place to stay"
The CPI is a quiet privately owned inn. It's been upgraded since the last time I stayed there 2 years ago and the room was very nice, certainly nicer than the Club Med rooms where I've stayed before, nearby. The bonus was the spacious balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for my purposes which was to get some rest from a stressful Fall at work, but it's close enough to Grace Bay Beach to walk in 1.5 minutes to join friends for the day. I also did the day rate at Club Med a few times for snorkeling and aquafit classes etc. All the action is at Club Med. I started my day with a quiet breakfast on my balcony (grocery shopping is also within walking distance an) so I kept my fridge in the room well stocked. Spent the day at the Beach and returned for a quiet evening. I brought my instrument and was going to give a Christmas concert in the bar but there was never anyone in there: some may find it a little too quiet. It'd be good if they offered a Happy Hour but there's nothing offered, so most just go to the beach or organize their own tours etc. They also claim that someone is at the desk 24 hours a day but that's not true. One night there was a ruckus from the guests in the next room, people banging and loud talking, yelling etc. and a fight outside. It was nasty and a little frightening. I called the desk and no one answered. A lot of people complained and I got a complimentary breakfast and drink. They promised they'd never allow these people to stay there again.

"Good location, minutes to the beach."
Staff is excellent. The unit was spacious and well lit, very modern and comfortable. Within walking distance of area restaurants, super market and some stores. The beach experience is great, staff is right there to help with all of your requests. We would recommend this hotel to others.

"GREAT Small hotel for the money and location!"
This hotel far exceeded our expectations; its current "3" rating on Expedia is way too low! The property has had extensive renovations in the last few years. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the area is very safe. Only issue is a poorly designed shower. There is no tub, very little shelf space and only a half-glass door. It would be nice if they at least added an extra shelf for razor, conditioner, etc. -- and a ledge so you can prop up your foot when you are shaving your legs. These are small issues, however, because this small hotel is wonderful -- just a short walk across the street to one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Every single person on the staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool/spa area is very nice and quiet. The breakfast is purely continental but it was fine for us. The room price was also very reasonable, compared to similar properties.

"Luxury by the beach"
I can't think of a single thing that the resort could have done to make our stay more enjoyable. The 1 bedroom suite was nearly 1500 square ft. with a kitchen, dining table, washer and dryer and more. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. This is a luxury resort - and the prices reflect it. While the staff are happy to assist in planning activities, the hotel itself does not appear to offer water sports etc. directly. Plenty of other providers nearby just a short walk along the beach. One nice thing...they mentioned that on repeat booking they offer a discount of up to 30-35% if I understood correctly.
