"Very traditional guesthouse, immaculate and clean, shared bathrooms not en-suite although it was very quiet during my stay so this wasn’t an issue. Very friendly, no English spoken but extremely welcoming and fantastic comprehensive breakfast.
Excellent value "

Lovely clean room with a great view of the city. Food and wine great in the restaurant. Not badly priced for hotel amenities. Even the wine from the vending machine was palatable. Friendly efficient staff happy to assist. The city is completely walkable from this hotel.

This was just what we needed for a brief 3 night stay on rail tour of Europe. Close to the Station but area seemed safe and residential. Not difficult to walk or take bus into the centre. Some good restaurants nearby. Clean and tidy without any frills. Breakfast was a good with typical Continental choices.

Lovely hotel; not too big, not too small. Friendly helpful staff, friendly quiet guests, small but perfectly adequate breakfast. We stayed with our two children in a family room and it was a good size with plenty of room for us all. Stayed in July and it could have done with aircon but not too bad. Parking was on street but right outside, limited to 4hrs during 0800-2000. Pay by phone app made it easy and we were only there overnight so time limit was not an issue. You might need to move your...

The proprietors / staff here were charming, and obviously take a real pride in the hotel. Everything is immaculate - spotlessly clean and prettily presented. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and ours opened on to a terrace and a beautiful, peaceful garden. Lovely bedlinen, and - hallelujah! - no useless, grubby cushions on the bed (as some hotels still insist on doing). Breakfast was worth every cent of the €9 it cost. Parking was convenient - right outside the hotel - at only €2 extra.
