"The hotel was beautiful. Both my wife and I loved the mix of modern materials and technology with the ambience of what existed as a manufacturing plant years ago. In the rooms, brick walls, exposed beams, and pipes added contrast to the clean windows and painted sheetrock walls. Pictures reminded us of the history of the building. We had a river view from our room in the part of the hotel that was away from the river and the view was wonderful. You could see both the river coming from the north and going to the south. With the riverfront walk going between the two buildings of the hotel, you could also see activity of people moving on their bicycles, jogging, or just walking. The staff treated us as friends. At the front desk, both Jenna and Rebecca listened and reacted to any requests that we had. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked during our 3 day stay there. We enjoyed the breakfast; however, it would have been better if there were heaters under the hot items and if there had been an additional high end coffee machine in the breakfast area. But it was nice to have a Nespresso coffee machine in our room so we could make our own cups while the machine in the breakfast area was busy. Our first night in the hotel, we decided to eat at the Millhouse Restaurant in the hotel and we were very pleased with the atmosphere, food, prices, and service there. It turned out to be our best restaurant experience during our stay in Columbus."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Near Benning, Steps to Riverwalk/Bibb Mill, 2 Kings, Queen Sofa Bed, Sleeps 6 property while we were in town to see our son graduate BCT at Fort Benning.The location was perfect! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and being close to the Riverwalk was nice. It was also conveniently located close to Fort Benning, which made getting to and from the graduation events very easy.The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Having two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms was especially nice and made our stay much more comfortable.The host was fantastic as well. Communication was excellent, and she was quick to respond whenever we had a question. We really appreciated how easy and stress-free she made everything.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Fort Benning/Columbus area!"

"Everything was nice! The host was very easy to work with. At one point the door code didn’t work, but that situation was resolved quickly. On my end I will pay close attention to the beds because the twin room got me good. Those beds are basically on the floor. That’s on me! We made it work! Otherwise great stay for sad occasion.There is a Piggly Wiggle just outside the neighborhood and it’s next to a dollar general for last minute supplies!!!"
