"The property location was very nice and an easy walk to restaurants and the shopping district. The property is definitely older and the room we had was quite small with very uncomfortable chairs for sitting. We are generally not people who spend a lot of time in our room, because we want to be outside. But we had two days of rainy weather so we were inside for part of the time, which is when we really noticed how uncomfortable the chairs were. The parking lot was not very big, but the staff was accommodating on helping to get everyone a parking spot. All of the rooms in Banff are expensive, so just know going in that it doesn't have the WOW factor, but it was convenient and clean, So if that is what you are looking for, then this would be good for you."

"Love the location! Everything is walkable and it's right in the heart of Banff. Bus stop is steps away. Our room was ok, but it was confusing to get to it and althought I was told it was on the second floor, it was not. From th second floor, it was quite the staircase to get to our room. I don't have great mobility right now and it was a challenge. When I asked about moving rooms I was told it was sold out. And the other complain I had was that the sauna and hot tub did not open until 10am. We would have loved to start our days with a quick soak but were not able to."

"The outdoor hot tub, swim pool and sauna were pristine and exactly the way they showed. The rooms were jacked up for me for labor day long weekend….I got ripped off in that way. Cleanliness…there were some stains on the carpet and cobwebs on the lights but the beds had fresh linens and amenities clean. Beautiful view."

"The hotel staff was very friendly. We were able to have them hold our bags when our room wasn’t ready while we went out hiking for the day. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was in a great location. The bus stop was right next door and was also walkable to downtown."

"The staff were very kind and attentive to our needs at check-in and check-out. The hotel was a block away from Highway 1 and had a large visible sign which made finding it easy. The Bistro had a good selection of food and wine. We also enjoyed the hot tub which eased the stress after a long day of driving."
