Only the top 1% of vacation rentals listed on the VRBO and Homeaway websites qualify for this prestigious status. To qualify, the home must be selected by Andrew Harper and complete their 75 point check list. Private, direct beach access from this beautiful 3,000 square feet ocean front home...five bedrooms + kids' bunk room. Floor to ceiling windows throughout. Waves, surf, and whale watching galore. Fabulous location five miles south of Lincoln City and only one mile from the Salishan Coastal Lodge (golf, spa, swimming pool, tennis, fitness center, fine dining, zip lines). Neptune Vacation Rentals is the ideal vacation home on Oregon's central coast. Perfect for large groups who need a spacious home or cozy enough for a couple looking for a private luxury getaway. The ocean is right out the backdoor with a private path down to the beach. For folks with mobility issues, there is a gently sloping public entrance to the sand four houses away. It is a short drive to a wide variety of restaurants, groceries, shopping, antique stores, casino, and the Tanger outlet mall in Lincoln City. We are located five miles north of picturesque Depoe Bay and 15 miles north of Newport with its world class aquarium. Neptune Vacation Rentals is a custom home built in 2006 and is over 3000 square feet with five bedrooms plus kids' bunk room and four full bathrooms. It has the finest quality furnishings and amenities. There are three master suites. All of the beds are very comfortable and have luxury linens. There is a living room on the main level with hardwood floors; a gas fireplace that has a quiet, adjustable-speed fan that throws out lots of BTUs; a large flat screen smart TV & DVD and DVR; and slider doors to the large, ocean front patio with a fire pit. You may see whales AND surfers! There is a kids' play space with bean bags chairs, glow-in-the-dark stars and constellations on the ceiling, buckets of building block toys, and a basket of books. The house also has a baby high chair, two Pak 'n Plays, baby dishes, cups, utensils and a dozen or so plastic covers for the electrical outlets. Step stool in each bathroom so toddlers can reach the sink. BEDROOMS 5 bedrooms plus kids' bunk room: beds for 12 people. Bedroom #1 has one queen with en suite bathroom and real-flame gas fireplace, on ground level off the garage Bedroom #2 has one king bed with en suite bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The view was unmatched and we enjoyed the firepit several evenings. Thanks for providing the wood! The house was spacious where everyone had private quarters as well as plenty of communal space for us. The view is incredible! If you don't feel like getting out, you can still watch the ocean while remaining cozy inside. However there is easy access to the beach and we all spent a lot of time walking along and appreciating the majesty of the ocean during sunrise and sunset!The area is within a short drive to golf courses and beautiful hikes. We loved ending a full day sitting around the fire pit at sunset and later. The windows were amazing and views stunning. The split level layout made it easy for one of the older couples to only walk up a few steps to their bedroom after walking up the flight of stairs to get to the main floor. The property description is accurate but pay attention to the stairs. The kitchen was great with anything you would need in the cupboards. We enjoyed the people watching as the area right next to the house was a public access. Our only negative was that we had fog the whole 3 days we were there. Bummer.
